Hi all,
How can i get the DK Anihilators?I tryed with Deva Station worthless,i taked down the station more times but the DKA's don't appeared. In Ptah i've shot DK mothership until her shield was down, then the mothership is disappeared aprox. 10-15 sec., end when she came back, was like new.In that way is impossible to kill a mothership.Should i take down the cruisers first or what?Any tips?(and excuse my english)

Well, Deva station needs to be shot down entirely. Just a few shots won't do. And since it's a wreck it could be that someone has been looting it before you. About the motherships, I have no idea why they dissapear, but only the motherships in the Vortex will give you the DKA's
Grtz, good luck

From what I've seen the DKAs at the Station Deva only respawn when the server restarts (one in which the commodities move). The same goes for the motherships in Hyperspace. The first time you kill each of the ships it will drop a DKA, but until the wrecks respawn the motherships will be impervious to damage.

People should be allowed to camp in Menton. I bet the people usually get loadrapped before they even get to take over the controls (did I just coin a new phrase? ^_~). I don't know why somebody would want to camp out there even if you were waiting for guns to respawn. Just go out there the next time you notice a change in the commodities

there is, in my view, no need to camp in menton or in lost paradise. yes the hyperspace trip is a long one but isnt that the idea? DKA's are supposed to be hard to get hold of, so do the whole trip as a group and enjoy it. i have on many an occasion with other players in my SP char and my RP char. its a challenge, and so it should be. DK space is eye candy, the DK cruisers and motherships are too; its worth doing the trip just to see them let alone trying to destroy them.
camping in menton or in lost paradise is as wrong as camping on the diamonback mkII wreck in X or on the tomsk gate for the coalie turrets. it sets you at an unfair advantage to all the other players on the server. and is against server rules.
play fair, enjoy the newer systems, work together and have fun.

I am not going to say anymore.
If I am online and someone logs-in , in Hyperspace / Deva station. Be prepared.

I`m camping in Sovetskaya xD

dont be too strict... if someone does it continiously then i would say you can call it "camping" but not if some1 just fly to hyperspace and doesnt get weaps because somebody else was there already and then tries the next day leaving his char there
everything has to been seen in relation

Unfortunately we have a few who have been there for a few days and repeatedly logging in to those locations.
So if any of you have ships there and have your DKA's (5 to be exact), leave the area now for the next guy to get his.
Then go back later.

ah, why do you ever bother do get them?
first you manage to get them and then after few pvp's you just say they are crap and that you want to sell them.hm, i think i heared already that from someone? hm, i think its ..p..e

DKAs are worthy (tested on SP) cause almost the same but give you better energy consumption so this fact times 4 (ussually 4 are the slots for lvl 10 guns on CF ships) it could make a difference

It can be done well if practiced, but in my experience at least it's much easier to fight other players with codenames. DKAs, gatts, and PPCs are best suited for eliminating agile, jumping targets like nomads, DKs, and people with dial-up imao.

I use codenames as well. I personally dont understand they hype of the DKAs, since they are just green PPCs that use less energy. And even with 4 of them, its not enough to make a significant difference in a pvp. I use del cidz, Silver Fire MKIIs, and Jade MKIIs. The range may only be 700m (i think) But the opponent will rarely ever move farther away from you than this in a PVP, unless they drift. And even when they do drift, you can always counter it with a torp or 4, and a simple corkscrew manuver to get within range of the target while avoiding incoming fire.
I have heard people say that the PPCs are better because of the projectile speed, but in a PVP, speed becomes much less of an issue seeing as how the two players thrust at each other at top speed. Ive fought with both PPCs and Codenames on a clean server with no lag, and ive wittnessed no great difference. Yes there was a difference, but it didnt make it any harder or easier to effectively kill the opponent. Its all a matter of personal preference, really; i use codenames because they are just as good in pvp as PPCs, and they are also great DK/Nomad hunters as well.
Another reason people may think that codenames are not as good, is because the first thing most poeple think when they hear that word, is "extremely powerful guns that fire too slowly to be effective in pvp. Stay away and stick with your PPCs!" Which of course, istn tru for all codes, like mine. But if more people knew that, id have one hell of a hard time getting my weps setup for my new chars

PS: Anyway, the bump wasnt because of DK but because a question was raised again on the comment quoted on my previous post so I m just waiting a clarification to take the right course of action...

u guys should appreciate some of these weapons more theres alot u dont know about them. While ive been away modding weps i studied how OP made his weps(my weps are based on his) and some things are very clever.
and that little bit of extra firing that is enabled from less energy usage can make quite a difference in some cases.
