i have seen Nomad clans on other servers and they work well towards providing another aspect to the RP, abeit a limited one in the form of pure pvp. the only thing that worries me is lack of warning to other players. especially n00bs on the server and the lower level/experienced fighters here. announce the arrival of DK on system entry so these guys can at least leave the area if so desired, leaving you to the more experienced pvp'ers of the server. or create a clan rule not to attack anyone below lvl 55 for instance. anyone of this level or above should at least have a ship/weps capable of defending themselves from a DK attack.

i can see why some ppl took your intro as hostile, maybe they should, but from my point of view you seemed to be RP'ing a little! i say with a little bit of tweaking to your initial intro you could be a welcome clan on the server, a distraction from the asf/csf battles or the pirates too scared to tax!! anyway thats just my personal opinion, more pvp practice for me!!

On a side note note sry for my lenthy replies but the server is down and there is crap on the tv!!

The only mod that i know of that uses that type of RP ( in this case it was Nomads ) was in a mod called Evolutions nightmare... in that server, the admin chooses a person to have a nomad char and nomad ship without leting everyone know that the certain person is a nomad...I.E DC_Alucard switches chars to ( gibberish nomad name ) but nobody is aware of it )...of course you gonna have to log off completly with out anyone noticesing that you have a nomad char and you cant talk to anyone even your own kind..as long as you dont kill your own nomad comrads. it would be interesting to have something like that..but then again people will naging the admin to make him a nomad ( in this case a DK ).

The only people who kill me are the ones who play hop-scotch in space........(warping) Seems to be 3 LP and thats it..These Aces from Void as you call them. The only "skill" they have is their obscene warping ability.

Sucks for you, since I am not the only pilot who has noticed this about them. Including one admission from one of those 3 who said they use TeamSpeak in combat....^^

ok, what about the Nomad clan on Void Server? they are allways Nomad, no other chars. the are allied to the Nomads too so they dont get attacked inside Nomad space, and KoS any other player they come in contact with. BTW thats the only bit i dont like, no warning.

there wont be a DK clan... its against the plans of this server... its against this roleplay... its against EVERY logic

sooner or later those DKs would need to dock somewhere.... they need to dock on stations in altair or sirius which is absolutly impossible if all ppl are hostile to DKs

and its simply against the future plans of CF

they may be a pvp clan... fine
but they better dont come between the ASF/CSF roleplay (because this has highest priority)

Hmmm... are you going to ever add to the serverrules for these things? People might get confused when you tell them that they aren't allowed to do things when it isn't explicity prohibited in the server rules. It should also be made clear somewhere that if you aren't a paying player or subject to the rule of one of the serverclans you're not an important one. It would save people the trouble of making chars if you alienated them before they get the illusion that they can do what they want here and be respected

(btw, ASF-CSF may be the highest priority, but it still isn't the primary RP of the server.... only a fraction of serverclan pilots undertake attacks and such in the name of their faction, and almost nobody else on the server even knows what it is... on the other hand the standard RP is known by everyone and participated in more regularly)

Hey Gundam... u don t know what u re talking about... Some LPs lag, like myself, but not my aces. 1. i dont see the need to write a rule for every admin decision

2. if you feel treated bad because serverclans have rights that you dont have then it is your problem
the serverclans do alot to keep this server alive, they put alot of money into this while others just play on the serverclans costs
im repaying something to them for what they do and if you have a problem with this... then ok... lets see what happens of those serverclans stop to pay for their systems and i stop to pay for the server

I agree with OP: a putative DK server clan would not be workable withing the context of the CF universe. If a freelancer clan wants to play the role of DK minions, though, I see no problem. In fact, the additional hazard to shipping and commerce would create additional demand for contract escort services from clans Like SL and BD! The main issue for mercs is one of matching their fees to the budget of their prospective clients...

So, if I see ships online with DK tags, I will assume they are hostile, and respond accordingly [11]
