The best ship?

do a search as this has been talked about alot.

however it all depends on how you fly.

Well all of our answers are going to be along the lines "The mod is balanced, so all the ships are good. Look around a bit and fly the one you like best." This is my first responce, but since this isn't the answer you're probably looking for I'll just give my opinionated veiw on which ships are best.

If you're going for a VHF, the Kossac is best (Sovetskaya). If you're looking for a capitol ship, choose the Kusari Destroyer (Daedalus). The Bullpup Mk III is the best freighter (Custodian), while the all-around best ship in the mod is the Ragnarok (Styx, but is not available to you unless you're a member of the Server Police). Personally though, my favorite ship is the compact-yet-rugged Shroud VHF (Tarsus). I hope these suggestions are useful to you.

the best vhf is the saracen, kossac is good in pvp but too unstable in battle scenarios. kusari and reliant are the best capships, best fire spread and manouverability. the APC is the best small frieghter, ask amos i took out his rhienland cruiser and Xaf's vhf with mine!!.
And yes i have all of them!

Kossac ISNT the best VHF anymore after the last update from yesterday night. if you want to see why, try it out

VHF: Devil, Saracen, Shroud, Haidar (if you know how to use it)

The Kossac has been slowed down, you can't take out anything with it now... But I still don't get it what was unstable in this ship, I didn't noticed anything...
Anyway, I would advise the patriot and predator for ya.

my favourite fighter is the Freedom X Interceptor
i also like the Kusari Destroyer for a capship

Well u guys should know by now what i consider the best....the Ragnarok . It looks like my favorite Gundam Epyon too so thats a plus. But the coolest thing to do is to mount the Ragnarok's Railgun on a Shroud (the second best ship in my opinion) Yes it can be done without cheating! It is so awsome seeing the shroud fire the railgun lol

I prefer the Deathblade. It has a good loadout (dual torp /CD launchers) is very agile and has a 130 unit cargo hold. It's quite good if you know how to fly it (which I almost do).
And it's sleek and mean-looking.

i like the Warblade. nice stats and looks good.

If the ship is in a clan owned system, Please ask for permission from that clan before you enter the system and purchase the ship. Some clans do not allow ship purchases. Clans will hunt the offenders.

Good luck in findoing what ur best ship is mate - no doubt you will have fun trying the different ones.

For PVP purposes - I recommend the Karak or Saracen from Altair - thats not a clan system so u can buy without any worries.

Apparently the Kossac is good but I dont like its poor cargo capacity.

The ships are well balanced in this mod and usually their is a balance between speed and agility, hull strength, cargo cap and power (is that right)
