I'm completely new to CF. In the readme it says something about a story with different chapters, is it possible to play the storyline with the nomad battles and so on?
Am I supposed to choose Open Singleplayer for that?

Well I went to death Valley and all I found that could be story related is that 9 mill worth datadisk but not much else. I sold it to CF but no more story afterwards....

The Kusari Fleet is still out there and under attack by nomad battleships and gunboats. The Fleets spread out to find a hidden system called Death Valley and to rescue the Kusari. Meanwhile in the Nephele System a new Sleepership was found which looks the same way the old alliance sleeperships looked like. Scientists entered the wreck to explore it and to have a look at the ship database. "Russian language?!?!... it's a coalition ship" -
Speaking of the Nephele story line, is there anything left to do once you get all the info you need from coalition space? I'm exploring Dom'Kavash teritory but I can't find anything interesting, except huge empty nebulas and asteroid fields. I've checked out 3 systems so far. It's dang annoying to explore when you're always hit by those killer CDs of theirs.

thats why i do the old difficulty scale=0.00 trick when exploring there. I simply dont want to be bothered while searching for the black boxes
since i am actually trying to get all the black boxes and read whole story -
well, you can find up to 3 blackboxes in DK systems. and you can read interesting things on them
you just need to find them -
I found the 3 Black Boxes from the Altair sytems and it doesn't say bring back to CF planet but closest colony. Regardless I did go to CF planet, sell THE BB's and nothing in the Bar!
Tried on earth, same. Figured since they were Rheinland cruisers, go to Rhienland, BUT NO!
Read this looking for a clue, reloaded the save when I returned to Sovetskaya with the 3 BB's, went again to CF planet, sold the BB's, STILL nothing at bar??????What to do PLEASE, W@rDog
