I did a small update yesterday... just patching a last 3d object that was not part of the previous update because it simply took way too long to finish (well over 30 working hours).

Based on Huors feedback several changes/fixes have been done to the client update settings.
A few days ago I also applied a temporary fix to a 3d asset causing a freeze bug. It is intended to deliver a proper final fix for this issue later this week.

I have problems with some ReShade effects every time MotionFocus.fx failed to compile is it my local problem or is it with everyone i dont know...

For me is still that way...its DX10/11/12 (V1) Shader....my favorite....and the error window stays as baner on the top of the screen during the game causing bad ping and heavy stuttering

That is strange because I can not reproduce it anymore and based on feedback from 13th September on Discord the issue was confirmed to be fixed

From day one after the upgrade its like that for me....even after clean reinstall of game its the same...impossible to use DX10/11/12 (V1)
On DX10/11/12 (V2) the error dissapeared before few days but planets stay stretched vertically...
In Vanilla always bad ping and heavy stuttering
The only one with no issues for me is OpenGL....but push my fans spinning all the time /not at max ofc/....and the other one is with the stretched palnets DX10/11/12 (V2)

I have the same problem after a recent update. Before that, it consistently supported a frequency of 40 FPS, so we had to abandon the improved graphics.

checked V2 now - everything works (except preset-7 - dark screen). 90-180 FPS

I took a closer look at the new reshade version and it looks like the entire folder structure changed.
Dunno why it works on V2 but not on V1 since the foundation for it is exactly the same.
At the moment it looks like it would be the best to completely remove the existing reshade and patch in the new version with the new structure. In my tests so far I had no errors with shader compilation on any of the shader settings. However, this is going to be a very big and complex update and from first observations the presets are not working correctly anymore. I'll have to take a closer look on how to fix that.

Have some problems after update. The shader openGL and DX10 are not working for me. Have stuttering maybe call it lag or npc jumping. In openGL Ragnarök still have those big bubble docking light.
My trains, Orient_Express and AcademyExpress have docking problems. They didn't dock at the first lane gate and very bad at gates , it need often 3 or more atempts till they dock at gates.
With train in asteroids there is often a high speed pingpong. I saw speed up to 4000, which cause heavy shield and hull damage.Ragnarok OpenGL.jpg

1. is it generally just the lag issue on the shader option or are they not working at all?
Regarding the lag (since I can not reproduce it) you probably should try to activate the window mode on the launcher options if not active already (or deactivate it if active) and try again. Also worth checking is pressing alt+enter makes it better. Some feedback about the results would be nice.
2. The lights on the ragnarok have been changed already to smaller versions. The problem in openGL is that instead of using the original textures it uses spheres with the size of the light settings. I already have made suggestions about it to the creator of the openGL renderer but until a new improved version gets released we have to live with it. Strange part is that the image you provided does not look like anything I have seen during my tests, after I did the update to the lights (reduced light sizes).
3. yes, trains and asteroids. It is an issue with the mass of the ships and the force it receives. Dunno yet how to fix it without destroying the heavy ship handling.

Yes Elk, AT has known problems with docking, it was much worse in former times, but trains were ok before this update. I used them dayly. Instead of AT i use mining ship, but theres no alternative for trains.
I noticed this behavior in asteroids of a ship long time ago when i tested the Reliant, so Reliant was for me not usable and only storage ship. So bad so much beautiful ships not usable cause of flight and docking behavior.
To point out, before update trains have bumps in asteroids too, but find theire way to target with some minor shield damage (in goto mode).
Now they they don't stop bumping and speed increases up to 4000 which causes fast shield lost and heavy hull damage and maybe ban from anti cheat detection.

Trains and all vanilla ships were not part of the update. Nothing has changed for these ships.
