  • Generally I would advice you to focus your with to buy stuff on the mods offered by the syndicates. e.g. the Rhino mods from Steel Meridian. The mods/auguments are clearly much more important than weapons.

The point is, Augment mods cost 25k standing while weapons cost 125k. Therefore I think it is more efficient to redeem a weapon as a rank-up reward (assuming it's possible in the first place). I do agree that Augments are necessary and I'll be buying them for Standing ASAP.

You rep grind sounds perfect btw. Steel Meridian Sigil + Suda missions + Steel missions = progress in 4 factions

    Warframe0081.jpg

Best to indeed use Suda for this, as her Sigil is just -50% Red Veil rep (as opposed to Arbiters' -100%). Even at worst case scenario this allows to lessen the negative impact to Red Veil standing.

Also what Syndicate missions are also useful for is bypassing the star map nodes. For example, there's one Rescue node on Sedna that kept half of it locked away. I put that one on backburner, then found out that there was a Syndicate Disruption mission instead. I hate Rescue missions (mainly because they are bugged... the hostage can get teleported elsewhere or get stuck), so here's that.

(I also hated Disruption missions until I found out that Rhino Stomp can stun Demolition units.)

The Invasion missions can also change the mission type, but they have increased enemy level (while Syndicate missions have a fixed level and it might be lower or higher than normal for that node).

    That sounds logical, yes.

But weapons are not part of the rank up rewards.

  • the maps above might help specifically with the cetus wisps and the crafting resources

    stuff worth to mention:

Nightwave intermission will end on May 3rd so if you intend to get certain rewards from it you might need to hurry and make use of the catch up mechanic (when you have less than 3 challenges left old challenges from the weeks before are being recovered).

Also you should make sure to spend all your nightwave creds before the end of the intermission as it wont carry over to the new season.

Scarlet Spear also is going to end in about a week. If you dont have the weapons yet its worth to grind for them... they both perform very well.

Also you can obtain components for 2-3 other weapons when you kill sentinels... also pretty cool weapons if you ask me. I am not 100% sure if they drop on ground mission or only on space.... I have mainly played on space because I was able to combine multiple tasks this way (collecting ~2500 sentient cores, collecting the blueprints, grinding 1,25 mio scarlet points, getting railjack resources and ~1200 intrinsics and in the meantime also leveled many weapons and frames).

Railjack content is going to get a complete rebalance with the upcoming updates making leveling and collecting resources easier. Also the flight mechanics are going to get improved. So if you have other tasks left open you probably should skip Railjack content until the rebalance.

  • I was just going to thank you for the maps since they helped me to finally start cooking another component for an amp. It's time to make that little sh*t actually relevant for something more than resetting Sentient immunities, popping Kuva clouds and finishing off Vomvalysts. 12 wisps left for the last component.

Eh, I'm not getting the most desired reward from Nightwave anyway. As for cred, might as well spend it on potatoes and Nitain.

As for Shedu parts? They drop on the ground. They are listed on Symbilyst (shield sentient dudes) drop table in Codex. And I already have the blueprint from Erra.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to buy the weapon blueprints since they are MR locked.

This was a bit late. My Railjack has already been laid down.

Also, my rep grinding for Syndicates hit a ceiling of 500k credits and Equinox Prime Neuroptics, courtesy of Steel Meridian. The Prime part drops from one particular Neo relic, which means I'm going to run a lot of Defense missions.

Of course, I'm p much broke in terms of credits, but farming for that particular relic is going to remedy that. As well as usual Tenno stuff (cracking open other relics, Nightmare missions, Infested outbreaks...)

Also speaking of MR fodder... one of those days I've gotta take my Sahasa Kubrow out of stasis and actually train her.

P.S. I forgot to mention that I have remade my Broken Scepter build.

    Warframe0084.jpg

Basically, a Viral+Heat Status build. I'm not sure if Viral increases damage from Heat and Slash damage over time, but I expect this to perform well against beefy targets - Viral procs increase damage output and Heat is another source of damage over time. I've heard that Heat DoT depends on Heat damage, hence Molten Impact and Volcanic Edge (the latter is essential since it also gives Status Chance buff).

And yes, I know, putting a lens into it was stupid, but I thought it was possible to remove it. DW, it was a normal lens, one that drops from PoE T3 bounties.

  • Aww yeaaah Hek was a beast. I have a Boar right now and kinda disappointed now (but at least Boar is full-auto).

It is funny how Hek is MR4 and Sobek is MR what. 6-7? Meanwhile, Sobek is a weapon of rank and file troopers and Hek is issued to elites (Kuva troopers)

Re video, turns out I NAILED the elemental combo! And Heat comes after Viral... As for Endo, I have more Endo than Credits rn. Never had problems with it, and I have plenty of Ayatan Sculptures in reserve.

Also I claimed an augment for Sobek as one of rank-up rewards from Steel Meridian, let's see if the other Grineer shotgun does well... not to mention that I also got a Sobek specific mod called Acid Shells from Kela de Thaym today.

  • You will get to the point where endo turns into a problem. I could use 1-2 mio endo to lvl my prime mods.

Credits never were a big issue since everytime I have a credit booster (once every 2 weeks) I play a few index matches. But endo... thats a different story.

  • Meanwhile...

    Warframe0093.jpg

I'm not really going to use her until the RJ rework I've heard to be in the works, though. According to the forums, DE plan to add NPCs to help crew the ship in solo mode, and those NPCs can also be converted Kuva Liches.

The main problems during the Railjack construction were Copernics (which I had to mine on Orb Vallis), Argon crystals and credits. Common and PoE resources were less of a problem. Cubic Diodes and Carbides... I had plenty of missions on Europa and Ceres respectively, so no problem here either.

  • Okay, I'm MR9 now, and I've gotta ask about Acceltra. I've heard its blueprint is a drop from Infestation Disruption missions on Grineer ships (Ur). Does it just drop from Demolition units in general or from a specific demo unit?

Also in regards to Baro's haul this time, I was mistaken, he had Supra Vandal, not Dera. Which is better, but Supra Vandal is MR14.

  • it drops with a 1.25% chance from infested demolisher units there

you might have to do 20-50 runs (depending on your luck)

on the way you also might collect the akarius there

  • Okay, still no luck (and I think I can craft at least one more Oberon from all those runs), but I have decided to make this mission easier by building specifically for it.

So, my Broken Scepter build? Not good for this type of mission. Demolishers appear to be immune to some status effects such as Viral (and my Broken Scepter works against hard targets by proccing Viral on it with each hit and increasing following damage). Strangely, my pistols still pile a lot of Puncture and ocassional Slash on a Demolisher...

So I had to switch to something else entirely. My gaze fell on another weapon that is obtainable through story quest (though yall likely used it up to build the whole War).

    Warframe0095.jpg

This is a Crit build. While pure damage is less than that of Broken Scepter build, Doesn't look that impressive. However... there are two mods from Gladiator Set.

I have also replaced Blind Rage on my Rhino for Gladiator Aegis. In the mission full of Ancient Disruptors and Parasitic Eximi I want Iron Skin to be as cheap as possible. It doesn't have to have much HP, it's more for status and knockdown immunity. Also Demolishers can dispel Iron Skin anyway, so in this case it's IMO better to be able to cast it more often from less energy.

In total I have additional 30% Crit Chance per combo multiplier as per bonus from Gladiator set. Did I tell you that I have Naramon focus school active? And that Naramon has a skill which makes combo counter linger? That makes it easy to reach ~300% crit chance. I'm not sure it works like that... is the bonus granted by Gladiator set a flat 30%, a 30% of Base crit chance, or a 30% of Total crit chance? Is it additive or multiplicative? (And I thought Naramon's motto was "Know your enemy", not "Slice your enemy into thin ribbons, the thinner the better"?)

Again, this is a build specifically made for Infestation Disruption missions. Most Infested units are trying to get close and personal. So it's rare for me to not be slicing the sh*t out of them at any given moment, which keeps the combo counter there.

I threw in Quickening and Fury because more hitting -> faster combo counter increase.

So... with a high combo counter this melts Demolishers down on Ur. If I feel really cheesy, I have Dex Furis with a status Viral build to proc 6-8 Viral procs onto whatever I'm charging. Not to mention I modded my Helios's Deconstructor for Status Viral+Heat.

    So... whatcha think about it?

P.S. I wish there was an equivalent for Hunter Munitions for Melee.

  • my opinion... I need to grind for the quickening mod... i dont have that yet

    generally its a solid build

the suggestions I could make probably would not really help you since the mods are not easy to get

e.g. replacing gladiator rush with gladiator might for additional 30% speed

or using the berserker mod for up to 75% more speed (based on the combo multiplier)

or using the blood rush mod for +60% crit chance per combo multiplier

or weeping wounds for +40% status chance based on combo multiplier

the crit bonuses should be additive

  • both blueprints in the same run

I meanwhile got myself the first shotgun build that I really like. There for sure are more powerful shotguns out there but they dont feel like a shotgun anymore.

But this one feels just right.

A 20 shot clip instead of single load ammo... or 4 shots total like in the Hek.

Pretty accurate even on long distance due to a very narrow spread. High crit rate. It turns pretty powerful with just 1-2 forma.

Most importantly it still feels like a shotgun, not like some other energy bases weapons in the shotgun category.

  • Well, my experience with Shotguns was just Hek, Boar and Sobek (which I'm grinding for MR now). I miss Hek and I'm definitely going to miss Sobek.Though I'm mostly using it for rather low level stuff (most commonly Lith and some Meso fissures).

Sobek might be not really flashy, but it has even two augments, Shattering Justice (+90% status chance + Steel Meridian special action) and Acid Shells (killed enemies explode on death).

Also speaking about shotguns? I've got two Bronco Prime full sets.

  • Okay, I built Acceltra, however, now I have two primary options to grind exp for.

I managed to complete Thermia Fractures event today. Wasn't easy and I'm sure I wouldn't be able to do it in any other frame other than "I can grow 3 tons of extra hitpoints on top of my usual stack and don't give a flak about most crowd control" Rhino. Good thing is, the crates laying around Orb Vallis have plenty of energy and health pickups as well as various stuff normally available from mining/fishing in Orb Vallis (I'm yet to fish on Vallis but I mine a lot). Bad thing, Archwing Launcher strips Iron Skin (unlike K-Drive), and the enemies are powerful enough to make me relegate all my energy reserves to upkeeping Iron Skin.

So now I also have Opticor Vandal. Bonus points for Opticor Vandal coming with a slot and already potatoed.

Also both of those remind me of Warhammer 40k weapons. Acceltra behaves much like a Bolter and Opticor Vandal - like a Lascannon.
