do the pirates have a union??

    see here's how i figure it... pirates are becoming horid now. is there like some kinda union u can see for proper passage or something, just to get rid of the hassle, ill pay for server clans proper passage like BG-CFPD-IOC-etc... like say 100 mill a week? or even per clan? cause im not simply gonna be shot everytime i undock. loose my cargo, run cause im new and therefore cant fight worth anything... and im not gonna pay everytime i go... its getting out of hand... pfft


    we need to stop or handle this someway else, perhaps like pirate clans can do this but with proper "freelancer type bribes" idk


    i understand that freelancer needs pirates, its part of the story so dont get me wrong

    The pirates don't have a union, they are not anywhere near as menacing and active as they used to be, and the only reason you keep dying is because you keep trying to trade when they are near. My advice again is not to make runs in your trading char when there are pirates nearby. It is their RP to tax or kill you, and they are very good at it :D. You must be an even better merchant to outfox or evade them. Paying your taxes is as good as a bribe unless somebody has put a hit on you. In that case, you need to figure out who did it and negotiate a happy ending or things will be miserable for you. If there is anything I can do to help just ask, but if your rep is no good with certain clans it's for a reason and needs to be dealt with if you want to be left alone. Just my thoughts. 8)

    You'll get used to it and come to love it all m8. Remember that every person plays a role in the CF experience. Amongst all the chaos of conflict, loses, and early confusion you will find your own role and come to excell in it.     To my knowledge u have not offended the BG clan.


    If u want to pass thru our system u need to ask, thats all.


    There are 8 ppl who can give permission and usually there is one on when u want passage thru.


    Drakon has v good advice, if u follow it things will work out.


    If you want to trade and Pirates are blocking your route u can always ask a Police clan (CFPD, DC, KRT) or Military (BG) for help.


    We all (pirates, Police, Military) love a good fight.


    Paying some people to defend you would only be a short term solution.


    A better alternative would be to join a clan and learn how to fight and then defend yourself.


    Oh, btw we all get killed by pirates when were trading in a freighter. So dont take it personal, its just the Role Play.

    Next time they kill you call the police. :) we would love to come running to aid a merchant being attacked by pirates. And with 3 police clans there should be no problem locating one.

    2. If he is being killed repeatedly by the same pirates while he is undocking, that is unacceptable.


    3. We had an uspoken rule and agreement that you kill a trader once or twice per day, but not to bankrupt him or her.

    to my knowledge the crow has never been hit by a junker. we have never hit twice in the same day.
    I dont know if he is talking about the blockades, but i assure you, the RP fighting really leans in your direction right now.

    secondly it dosent matter, its part of the game, but another part of the game is pirates dying alot, im new so i cant fight well yet, so good thing ur doing this now... when i learn to fight, being trained by fixer gunny and sev, i feel as though retrobution will come sweet :)
