This is getting out of control and starting to pissoff

Personally, I left DC for these reasons:

1. Leadership was absent/inactive serverside for extended periods of time.

2. Presence serverside was too low, resulting in a number of difficulties.

3. Being in the DC felt like being a freelancer, except that you had to follow rules dictated by the leaders.

4. My efforts to contribute weren't being taken advantage of and my time was wasted trying to make things work.

5. I'd seen the clan decline steadily since I joined and nothing I could do (short of taking over) would have reversed this trend.

6. By leaving the clan I put myself in the position of being my own boss for once and perhaps even found my own clan.

See, all of this killed my fun here by creating an atmosphere of stress and helpessness. Problems couldn't be solved, work yielded no fruits (much less expressed appreciation near the end), and since Phoenix went out of contact things pretty much fell apart (don't blame the PiA's leaving on that). Without an active leadership morale plummeted and some of us decided that you guys didn't take the clan seriously anymore. This all nearly sent me packing my bags for NQ, and I'm glad I quit my post while I still felt there was fun to be had here. Now if I'm not mistaken, Black Dragon felt similarly about his own clan when he left to found the DC. Anyone can say that I don't have honor and that I betrayed people, but I don't care. I did what I felt was right and refuse to have second thoughts about it.

I did go to NQ for a short time and scouted around in a VHF char "Lance" to check the place out and talk to old friends who I dearly missed. I still have that char for whenever I feel like visiting them. I have my Freelancer folder set up in a a way that would allow me to switch back and forth between CF and NQ in about 40 seconds. How often do I play on NQ? Very rarely if at all. Do I have anything to do with this "DG"? Absolutely not.

PC, you're a good man and I hope the DC recovers from its growing instability, but I'm not the culprit and whoever it is who's cuasing this trouble is under your command. Also, I know as a fact that any trouble the DC is experiencing at the moment is not my fault. I may have been a loud voice and valued asset, but it's up to the leadership of the clan to decide whether it wants to regroup and stregthen or fade away and die. If you want to do something and fix your clan, start spending more time at CF where you are responsible for the people languishing under your command.

As I've said in the DC forums, I don't want to be an enemy of the DC, and I'm still willing to rally to whatever needs you may have for assistance. Perhaps this defense of my actions was unnecessary here, but I wanted to clarify once and for all that I still support the DC and my friends, but will not be guilted or painted a traitor for pursuing my own interests for once. I am very sensitive to this subject and probably have misinterpreted your message as a result, so I appologize in advance if my tone is hostile or my responce irrational.

I have to agree with him, it's not logical having a character with his own name, then creating another one with a fake name to found a clan.

Also, i've done some investigation, and i've discovered that neither the founder of this DG clan, or his co-admin are ex-members of either DC, or BG clan.

If you don't belive me, check their e-mails. They were clever enought to hide their e-mails on the NQ forum, but they had to put their e-mails on their own forum.

Now, i will put myself in risk by saying this, but i feel that the truth must be said. They both were ex-UAC members. I know that because their e-mails match with the e-mails they've used on our forums. I don't have nothing to do with that, they both misteriously disappeared both from the server and from our forum, and just recently one of them challenged me to find out who he is.

I can't deny that i'm also posting this here to make clear.

bummer, but why is everybody still looking at the losses, there are still coming new people to the server, why not just have a good time so that these people (I could include myself here, but I'm staying anyway) don't get wrong impressions of us. I mean, true, it would be a bummer if those members were from DC and BG, but then, what are you gonna do? Cry about it?
Not really effective adn I can know these things, believe me, I'm constantly working on impressions so people don't wrong idea's of whatever, bit neurotic, but I like it and just take my advice, a loss is bad, but not gaining is worse.

I agree. People need to stop complaining about how "terrible" things are and just do what's necessary to fix the problems. The UAC nearly left for NQ, and some of the members probably felt more attached that mod than this one. If they want to go make their own clan, let them. Nobody on NQ will think that they're DC or BG, so it's really nothing of our concern. Enough reflection on fiascos resolved. Shall we move on, or foolishly make ourselves a rift between CF and NQ?

I agree 2. It's very bad that people do this kind of stuff. Why? we'll never know but we don't have to kill our fun.

I also play EVE online and believe me EVE is a whole lot bigger then Crossfire (major story is somewhat like Freelancer/Crossifre and they constantly have 20thousand peeps online in a single server envronment!!!) and this shit happens there al the time. Just don't let it kill your fun.

It seems that PiA has become a scapegoat for the problems of some people here and it's entirely unjustified. NQ is a fine server and ALL of the people there deserve the same respect and courtesy that we show members of our own community. DS, please don't even joke about "conspiracies"... things may be calming down here, but there are still those who would rekindle this into another flame war[rofl].

There is a famous saying that goes;
"There is no such thing as bad publicity"

For people talking about other servers, whatever your opinion, the more you talk about them here, the more you advertise them. This is not fair on this server. If people want to play somewhere else that is their own business.

As for DC. If the second oldest clan needs to go through somewhat of a rebuilding, then what better oportunity for players to join and rise through the ranks quickly. We have a great history, a great system, great relationships with other clans, and any current troubles will only see us emerge stronger that ever.

Yes, I know I was ready to leave myself, but I am more happy than you could know that I was talked into staying. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes DC have been, are, and always will be, a force to be respected and feared on this server.

Lets build CF. Who cares about anyone else. I personally dont give a damn what others are doing on other servers. CF is our universe. This is OUR home.
PiA are still my friends, but it dosent affect CF in any way. Imo this is the best mod and community in LR. I love this place. CF is growing well and will continue.

Burro is totally right CF is an independent community and server and is a very strong one you should forget what other servers are doing (or not doing in this case) and continue to build CF so for every player that leaves at least 2 new ones will come and most importantly stay around for a while

articus was recruited to BG but under suspiction to be a fake from another server

he did alot to get into BG but he never got any access to our boards due to the fact that we knew that we couldnt trust him

he was not active in BG ... he never did attend in any RP on CF and that he is saying such a shit now just proves that his only task was to start trouble and get information

to use the DC logo is a violation of copyright law

and i think its very funny that PiA and all those other guys from NQ are still here to read OUR forum
and this so called "consipary" well - it is pretty interesting that exactly those guys which were known as fakes show up on NQ using OUR stuff there... talking shit about US and taking our players there
it is also nice that OUR names are used on NQ... to start trouble and make CF look bad

ppl should never forget what happened to ACS when they did the same shit like NQ is doing right now.... history always does repeat

Pia are still my friends whatever happens but we don't have to start a flame war like my sign say's which path will You choose the path of the past or that one of the future? i have made terrible mistakes in the past but i don't let them affect my future we need to build a strong community here hench this is the greatest community i have ever been in and i have been in a lot of communities in the past but cf is the only game which got me in a state of addiction

Not to mention that they've also shitted on us. Articus (aka apollo). When i said in the UAC forum that we were going to name another director, but one from the marines so that this new militar director could help us take the militar decisions. Apollo volunteered, but we had our choice already and so i've said no. When i've nominated the new director, apollo disappeared both from the server and from our forums.

Then only recently i got pm's from him saying that he was going to leave to another server because UAC was not "pleasing" him.

They both made a commitment when he joined us, and they've broken that commitment, with an lousy motive..

I don't know why there is so much conflict on the subject of NQ, so what if a number of people leave? There are more people coming to crossfire everyday, let make it our job to focus on the new players and show how fun Crossfire really is.

P.S. I recently visited NQ and I found the it has a decent mod but it had too many Star Wars nuts for my liking.
