LP Rules
As I am in New York again I visit my old pals in Rochester to get the latest views on who's been doing what to whom.
Somehow the Mollys and Xenos hear I am in the area and harass me for ages chasing me in and out all over the place. I escape in the end with support from my Junker brothers but end up with a whole lot of misguided cretins in my hold. I offer them a truce and let bygones be bygones. As I am starting afresh I offer them some cash to the families of criminals I have sent to Davy Jones Locker but the most senior Xeno spits in my face.
I've had enough of them making my life a complete misery and decide take them to Prison for the rest of their natural life - rather than drop them off at Pittsburgh which is nearly as bad. In Texas I meet a fellow traveller who had also been in trouble with the Xenon's and we spend a few moments shooting the breeze looking for oil.
I note he has LP before his name and whilst he not watching, increase the distance between us.
"you're a pirate aren't you"
"that's right"
"what brings you to Texas"
"just fixing my rep" - Hang on, aren't you a PIRATE, shouldn't you have a bad rep? You're not supposed to fix it.
I notice his flag and instead of the Jolly Rodger he has a picture of a Jam Dodger.
He gives me a couple of hearty laughs and shiver me timbers. Shouldn't he be up North somewhere making life a misery for those foolhardy travellers that venture into xfire systems unknown? Into those dread and dark waters?
He say "5 million" and I ask if he's telling me or asking me. He says he's new to the system but not a new pilot.
I make some excuse and pull further away out of range before he decides to take some action.
What is it with these LPs - are they a bunch of softies wishing to be NICE so everybody loves them - or are they real pirates?
Can somebody explain?
