Step by step installation instructions

  • As some people are obviously having difficulty understanding this here is some step by step instructions with screenshots


    1/ Deactivate CF or any other mod



    2/ restore the backups



    3/ uninstall FLMM



    4/ unistall FL make sure its uinstall not reinstall and tick the box about removing user data etc



    5/ run a file search to locate any lurking files that my cause problems



    6/ download the mod



    7/ reinstall FL



    8/ renistall FLMM



    9/ unzip the mod


    10/ activate the mod

  • not really cuz i know my install is fine and the download is not corrupted or anything so its best left alone but if anyone does a reninstall if u could send the last two screenies that would be cool :))

  • One thing, if you have any screenshots you want to keep then I suggest you move them elsewhere before uninstalling FL.

    on step 7 , its maybe advised to run fl basic ( SP ) to see if there are no saves still resident. Its was the case for me and i delete all files manualy to be shure !


    If GAY, and others, have still problems it's maybe not due to a good installation of FL and FLMM but incompability with something in the program.


    I suggest you look for new drivers for SOUND and VIDEO card, maybe increasing the memory buffers, stacking space ...


    Do you have enough free space on your hard disk ? you must have a quarter of you total space free to run without problems.


    Another source of conflict is the incorporated sound card on motherboard ( i had that problem with mod 1.5 ).

  • As I said before, until OP hand in ver. 1.62 to LR and they post it the server will be running 1.61 (btw, even if the version was hand in already, LR always takes their time to post stuff so it will be a while)

  • Maybe this will help with the activation bug I've seen and experienced. All those that are using the latest version of the FLMM please not that it will report an FLMMBAK error. uninstall the latest version and go retro to FLMM 1.31.
    I've tried it both ways to be sure I'm barking up the right tree. The latest FLMM will report the error when activating. FLMM 1.31 will not. FLMM 1.31 Activates the mod correctly and does not report any FLMMBAK errors when starting FLMM 1.31 as does the latest version.
