  • In the previous Flagship announcement blog we revealed the Consoles and Starship Traits found on these new Tier 6 ships. This blog will cover these ships’ stats, set bonuses and other details.


    Availability


    These Flagships will be made available in the C-Store very soon. These starships have three variants and are available in three ways:



    Individually - 2,500 ZEN this Weekend Only! (Normally 3,000 ZEN)
    Faction bundles of all three variants - 5,000 ZEN this Weekend Only! (Normally 6,000 ZEN)
    A Super bundle that includes all three variants for all three factions - 10,000 ZEN this Weekend Only! (Normally 12,000 ZEN)




    Flagship Stats


    Starfleet Star Cruiser Variants


    The Tier 6 Starfleet Star Cruiser variants are heavily based upon the original design of the Odyssey Cruisers. These massive starships are incredibly resilient, but slow to maneuver.












    The Sojourner Class has a focus on versatility and engineering, and features more Universal Bridge Officer seating and Engineering console slots than other Star Cruiser variants.


    This starship features a Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command specialist bridge officer seat.

    Flagship Consoles


    Each of the above Flagships is equipped with a Universal Console. Below is a summary of what each of these consoles do:


    Console – Universal – Adaptive Emergency Systems


    Each Engineering variant Flagship comes equipped with the Adaptive Emergency Systems Universal Console. When activated, it provides a substantial boost to damage and damage resistance for a short time. This console's effects are increased by 50% if the starship's current hull hit points are below 50%.


    This console also provides a passive bonus to Max HP and Energy Damage Resistance.


    This Console Mod can be on any Odyssey, Scimitar or Bortasqu' variant. You may only equip a single one of these consoles.




    Flagship Technologies Console Set


    This console set consists of the following consoles:



    Console – Universal – Adaptive Emergency Systems (Sojourner, Kahless and Shamshir classes)
    Console – Universal – Dampening Wave Emitter (Yorktown, Gorkon and Flambard classes)
    Console – Universal – Tactical Flagship Computer (Endeavor, Martok and Khopesh classes)
    Console – Universal – Timeline Stabilizer (Krenim Science Vessel)



    Equipping consoles from this set will bestow 2, 3 and 4 piece set bonuses:


    Flagship Modifications – Passive (2 piece)



    +Turn Rate
    +Critical Hit Chance



    Deadly Response – Passive (3 piece)



    When taking damage while a shield facing is critically low or depleted gain:

    +Temporary Hit Points (Stacks 3 times)
    +Bonus Damage (Stacks 3 times)



    Flagship Technologies – Passive (4 piece)



    Improves Flagship console abilities:

    Adaptive Emergency Systems: Required minimum health for bonus is increased from 50% to 75%.
    Violent Dampening Wave: Increases radius from 4km to 5km.
    Fleet Weapon Acceleration: Increases duration from 15 seconds to 20 seconds.



    Starship Traits


    Reaching Starship Mastery level 5 in any of the above Flagships will unlock a new Starship Trait. Below is a summary of these Starship Traits:


    Adaptive Hull Plating (Starship Trait)


    After achieving level 5 in your Engineering variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Adaptive Hull Plating Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, activating any Hull Healing or Command Bridge Officer Ability will boost your maximum hull hit points for a short time. This effect stacks up to 3 times.














    The Yorktown Class has a strong Science focus, and features more Science Bridge Officer seating and Science console slots than other Star Cruiser variants.


    This starship features a Lieutenant Commander Universal/Command specialist bridge officer seat.

When activated, your starship will emit a Violent Dampening Wave that will disable nearby ships, cause minor radiation damage over time, and dramatically reduce their damage output for a short time.


    This console also provides a passive bonus to Maximum Shield Hit Points.


    This Console Mod can be on any Odyssey, Scimitar or Bortasqu' variant. You may only equip a single one of these consoles.

    Each Tactical variant Flagship comes equipped with the Flagship Tactical Computer Universal Console. When activated, this console's ability will provide a substantial increase to flight speed, turn rate and weapons firing rate for your team for a short time.


    This console also provides a passive bonus to Directed Energy Damage.


    This Console Mod can be on any Odyssey, Scimitar or Bortasqu' variant. You may only equip a single one of these consoles.

    This console set consists of the following consoles:

    Super Charged Weapons (Starship Trait)


    After achieving level 5 in your Tactical variant Flagship’s Starship Mastery, you will unlock the Super Charged Weapons Starship Trait. While this trait is slotted, firing a torpedo will provide a stack of the Super Charged buff. This buff provides a boost to directed energy weapon damage, critical hit chance and critical severity for a short time. This buff stacks up to 3 times.






    NOTE: The stats and features of the above ships are all subject to change.

  • Yeah, now thats the question and the answer most certainly will be "no".



    The scimiats strength were the tactical console layout (5consoles), the weapon layout (5:3),the Boff layout (with tac commander) and the additional hangar bay.
    Its only weakness was the low power levels due to its singularity core.
    While consoles, weapons and the hangar bay have not changed at all, the console layout of the scimitar clearly improved.
    One ensign universal slot turned into a lieutenant commander universal slot (-> which can be used as additional tactical slot).


    The Fed ships also improved (in most areas -> fed flagships have higher inertia).
    Unlike the scimitar all fed ships have a engineering commander slot.
    So all tac slots are max lt. Commander.
    However, the boff layout is alot more reliable when it comes to double slot high dps abilities.
    e.g. on the tac flag ship you can use 2x lt. commander slots for tac abilities which allows you to use a APO + FAW3 + APB + FAW2 cycle


    the science version of the flagship comes with a better lt. commander sci boff slot which finally opens interesting options such as a good gravity well or a photonic officer (for cooldown reduction).


    even the operation flag ship has a more reliable boff layout (but still remains the weakest)


    the new t6 romulan flagships clearly will deal more dps from what i can see
    Fed ships have stronger hull, stronger shields and higher power levels.
    Romulan ships turn slower, but for some unknown reason they have not higher inertia (like the fed and kdf ships)
