Crossfire 2.0 intro movies don't play

  • Did a search but got no specific hits, but I've just downloaded and installed Crossfire 2.0 and none of the intro videos play, all I get is a black screen, up until the last video which is extremely pixelated, I have the K-Lite codecs installed. Is there some setting that needs to be changed to get the intro videos working, or is it a specific problem to some video drivers, I'm using nVidia if that's any help. ?(

  • What win version you have? If win 7 check cf launcher (icon you use for game
start) and disable desktop composition. then try movies again

  • the intro movies should play under any windows version meanwhile
all settings to get them to work are done via launcher

dunno if specific codec can have a negative impact on playing the vids
