yay icons fixed them selves but when i went to space the cut scene was fine but when it switched to gameplay the screen went black. all i could see were redicules for the other ships
any suggestions

convert ingame picture to .jpg and then use in post here "more options" and in menu below text area is one tab called Attachments ... this is what you search for.
Btw which shaders are you using? (in mod launcher in settings) .. try 1st vanilla, there should be not any issues.

Remove itself? ... there is nothing what remove itself regarding cf files. If suddenly starts missing game stuff, then you can be almost sure that your antivirus remove game files.

we are in a alien enviroment martind abnormal things happen
it happened to me once i docked at the nearest place and logged off and on and all was ok never to happen again. funny unexplained and explained things happen here in crossfire at times, makes it more interesting.
