Do you realize how many thousands of people don't play this mod because they cannot load it.

This is still Beta and this issue was fixed at Launcher not updating

Well, counting all mod install which I did so far, there was only 2 problems and both was local and related to windows 'security' functions. CF 2.0 was so far downloaded almost 20k times (lets say 14k players) and we had here (compared to such amount of downloads) only limited count of issues ..
it is imo quite good result for such huge mod developed for rly old game by only very few ppl.

We know well, that install and activate mod can be not easy in some cases, but this is a reason why we here offer support. Atm is in development new mod installer, but it still may need some month to finish it.

... And to problem description like ''There is just to much wrong with your Crossfire 2.0 Launcher.'' ... its like come to car maintenance service and say ''my car is broken'' ... it is quite difficult to find out what is problem . We need to known what exactly is going on, if we should be able give advices.

back in the times FL was released there was only one OS you would need to make the game compatible to (windows xp)

today everyone expects that its compatible to XP, Vista, win7, win8, win8.1, win10 (including all their service packs, their different end user versions, 32bit or 64bit versions and all their different security settings and structures)
thats a shitload of different conditions under which we have to get that game running

... and there we didnt even talk about hundreds of third-party system tools and security tools which could cause conflicts
