with the team always busy , the mount button, can that be bigger, different color or someway different. it is easy to not notice one mounted or not. can be overlooked when ship changing too, so it might catch out the newbies easily . just a thought

I'd like the vanilla mount button back, the 2.0 is too hard to recognise. I heard about people losing equipment (armor, powerplants and stuff) because they just couldn't see it wasn't mounted.

no progress since its not even on our to-do list
put it into a suggestion on the bug tracker and eventually we will look into this matter when we finished to take a look at the more important issues
