  • @RG Hawk: Wow. Thats a nice price, lol.
Hey, we've been looking for a guy from

South America to round-out Chaos, we have ppl from every other continent (except antarctica

lol).. Interested in joining? We would be glad to have u, Pilot (politics never makes it

    online, btw lol).

@OP: I think they are referring to the oil "spot market" in the UK

(commodity/futures trading and independant oil company holdings), not from the usual North

Sea consortiums. If so that could screw-up prices alot i would imagine.

  • north sea doesnt have even enough oil... most oil we get is from russia

  • hey jib here in ny the gas is already 4.50

for super and as for regular we are at 3.89, (man my wallet is starting to hurt). Hurrican

katrina did us in good, but i do have to say that the rise in oil per barrel costs is due to

the war. in 1991 when the first gulf war happened the gas for regular cost $1.05 the day

after the start of the war it rose to $1.15 by the end it rose to $2.05 here in ny and

didn't drop back to the $1.?? range till almost 1995. With every combat action we have

entered the price of oil and gas has rose.

The Blackknight salutes you in you upcoming battle may you win or die with honor.

  • Well yer right

of course gas prices are rising faster than OP's temper when u tell him hes wrong..... lol

Whats even more worrisome is the IMMEDIATE shortage.. i mean wtf... how come there

are now instant storages?? Thats just not likely, is it? After all the process of oil

refining and shipping is months-long... but the wholesalers are acting as if there is an

emergency in supply right now, although demand has not risen. Its bad enough that they

charge the higher prices on oil they have already bought, refined, and have in the storage

tanks now... but they are faking a shortage too.

I'm starting to think this is

the opportunity they were looking for to ease the USA into high oil prices (to a level

Europe pays).... something that could never be done any other way cause it would be

political suicide for the party that championed it. In many ways it will be a "good" thing

for the environment but in america were u almost gotta drive to get to work most places, its

gonna be hell for poor ppl.

  • Thank you Jib for your offer. I had sent you a message and I

    will wait for your reply-

    SIncerely,

    RG.

    [4] Don't argue, [3] Just do it

  • In uk prices have just gone to over £5 per gallon

or £1 per litre in some places
cost me £50 to fill my van up with diesel :(
