Event managers needed

I am willing to help out, will fill in a spot that's available, no

special request.

Well, I'm willing to help... Just I'm not quite

sure what should I do....

4 exaple nomads... I can lead the hunt if needed

The role of an event manager is relatively dull. All the others

have fun, and you are managing the event. For instance at a race event, you will have to

have a char at the starting point and one at the finish. At the starting point you will tell

the contestants the rules and you will give the "GO" for the event, then you switch to your

finish char and watch them come closer, and finally see who wins.

The nomad event is

a single player event, discribed someplace else on the forum. You will be hanging out at the

deathzone gate, scanning the players as they enter, watching the time, scan them when they

exit, calculate who has scavaged the most guns and announce the winner.

In the

CSF/ASF battle you will see action, coordinating the event from one side (tactics and so),

but then you will have to be a member of the CSF or ASF clans.

So mostly all the

events the event manager will have a sit and watch duty, and afterwards write a piece on the

event board, and write a message to the serveradmin announcing who has won the event, so he

can give the players their pricemoney.

im intrested in the CTF event manager....can you give me details on the event so i can see

what the duties are? (though it seems obvious i need to confirm them..)

By what chance can an event manager be there without the roidminer(as

says in description: for event managers only) and what system can you buy the Roid Miner?

Seriously, this week we need 6 civic-minded ppl to volunteer to be Event Masters,

each on different days. Assume Saturday is taken. Duties: Be willing to conceive and

execute a server-wide Event one day a week, and provide any prize money (at least until u

are reimbursed). U need to be fair to all and patient enough to put up with lots of

pointless questions, lol.

... But mostly, u need to care about our server and be

willing to do your part to make it as successful and fun as it can be.

the every man for himself Top Gun championship and Thursday the Alliance/Coalition Convoy

Raid, which still hasnt been tested but still seems like it would work, with a prize of 35

million for Top Gun and 45 million to the clan that wins the Convoy Raid.

pick a day u can be available. We tried it once with Nitro as referee and it worked great

(cause i won a round, lol). But i think u may need to reconsider allowing use of PPC's

cause its tougher to find ppl otherwise.

@Baldy: Cool; either event sounds good. So

is that Tues., Thurs., or Tues AND Thurs., for you? Nowhere does it say u can't do 2 days

if u want, lol.

well if someone wants to manage the Top Gun

championship they are more then welcome....but for right now i can do two

days.

well once i figure out the rules and set it up according to the CYOF

rules i can make a event out of it with BG, DC, and Chaos as their own factions.

will be house factions
Chaos will be pirates
DC will be bounty hunters and

corperations
any misc freelancers will be mercenaries for hire by any faction.
