Yeah I've been waiting for it for months, can't wait... though it looks really like Pitch Black and no wonder since it's the same director.
But it's Riddick of course, so it would be awesome.

True, does look like a Pitch Black re-hash, But Carl Urban is in it which is the Necromancer follow on,
Just how much Necro's, Elemental, ect.ect is included in the storyline idk, I hope alot, as we all know
Riddick became the new Lord in the Chronicles of Riddick, just hope it doesn't get missed or glossed over
otherwise its Pitch Black 2.
I don't mind how its done, as you said its " Riddick ", and it will still be a great film.
What would be nice to see if Riddick could discover Furyian survivours and indeed he is NOT the last of his kind.
Which would open new storylines for future films, Still you never know..Rgds

Indeed, according to the rumours this new film is the best one, so we shall see.
And yeah, if they leave a backdoor for more movies, that would be really cool, I am a big fan of Riddick.

This new movie does look a lot like Pitch Black and no doubt about that since it's the same director. Pitch Black was a good one, but the second movie(the Chronicles) it's still the best of the series.
And in this new one, they hunt him, capture him again, then they release him to help them fight against those creatures in order to survive. I thought the director would have came up with a better idea instead of making Pitch Black 2 with only better effects and so on.
Yes, it's Riddick and I know it's gonna be a good one, but it's still stupid to see another Pitch Black movie...

The new movie for Riddick have to continue from end of Chronicles (when Riddick became new lord) this is right way for the story except if the new Riddick presents story of the hero between events on Pitch Black and Chronicles.

And it does, but the story will be the same like in Pitch Black. He's getting hunted by mercenaries on a planet, then some creatures appear and the mercs release Riddick(after they capture him) to help them fight against these creatures so they can survive. I didn't say that he is or he is not a Necromancer, I have no idea what he's going to be. You're the one who said he's not going to be a Necromancer.
I clearly said the facts from the trailer that it looks a lot like Pitch Black and no wonder about that since it's the same director. The movie hasn't come out yet, how do you expect me to know what it is about?
I just speculated from the trailer, you can see all of it in there.
