Hi,
first of all, I want to thank the Mod-creators of Crossfire 1.9. I honor your work and all in all, I really really like this mod due to its big bigger biggest universe and all the other things, that have been implemented. So don't take it personally, but here comes the big
BUT
Although I like Crossfire 1.9 and although I am curious about the new campaign, it is exactly because of this campaign, why I am posting this.
1st issue: Alright, a new campaign is awesome, BUT why did you not implement the possibility to abort the new missions or make it on the base of gratuitousness. Because it not possible to abort the mission, the player is not able to use navigation point function on the star map anymore and that REALLY sucks, because last time I flew about 100 klicks in a slight angle and landed about 200 klicks ABOVE my final destination, because I was in a ****ing nebula and there was no way to set a navigation point. Exactly because officially I was on a Chapter 2 mission.
2nd issue: also about the missions. I really really appreciate, that the Mod-creators invest so much time in creating a new campaign, BUT it is full of bugs. There are so many bugs, that someone needs a diploma in entomology for counting all the different bugs, which can be found in this mod. For example, Mission 24 in Chapter 2. These stupid cargo trains don't get it to dock with a trade lane WITHOUT wasting at least 10 minutes only for turning around the corner and when they finally entered the trade lane and also reached the end of it, the mission waypoint is still at the beginning of the trade lane we were just flying through! So when I enter formation, they are flying ALL THE WAY BACK (of course without using the trade lane and you can believe me, flying in Sol System WITHOUT the trade lane is NOT fun!)
When I tried it for the (felt) 50th time to end that mission, I was so annoyed that I wanted to blow up the cargo trains. But not even THAT worked! So I shut down the game, because I don't want to have a high blood pressure.
Well, this are just a few things, I hope you forgive me
Greetings
Lord Bane
