This report is fresh from yesterday. My name is Roger Hotnoter.
We are following 2 traders from the Independent Operators Consortium (in short IOC) on route throughout the whole Sirius sector. Today IOC has contracted for Heavy Escort with a mercenary, from the Silver Arrows (SA_SNAKE), to protect their especially important and potentially lucrative trading.
It's Tuesday evening in the New London system. Orders are coming in from Daumann Heavy Construction for the commodity Classified Artifact reports (CAR in short), for delivery deep in the Dresden system.
Northern* (editor: The name of the IOC freighter Roger is aboard) is quickly loaded with the commodities and off we go to the Dresden system. The Freighter Captain give command to be alert for Police and Pirates, on the scanners, as they are primary subject to interfere with the shipment. I Have never seen such a scanner before, it's in 3D and every ship in the the New London system is marked up, showing their real-time movements. These pilots are CRAZY - full speed through asteroids in formation with a Battleship, maybe I should have stayed at home this day. So quickly we move through neighbouring system and in no time we are in Rheinland space. No major threat from Police or Pirates, yet ! So we make our way peacefully through the systems and complete a safe delivery in Dresden.
The next order has already been checked in on the computer: Anti-personnel Weapons (IOC calls this APW in short) for Zoners in Hiruga, really - Anti-personnel Weapons, I still wonder about the purpose of this commodity. But as the IOC says, "If there's a demand, we deliver, for the best of all consumers or military organisations. We never discriminate, a customer is a customer". Northern* is loaded from a Pirate base and I didn't leave the ship while we were docked there. Those pirates are scary and I love my life.
ALERT! ALERT! Police detected in a neighbouring system - evasive maneuvers recommended. Setting new waypoints. The scanner can only show that this officer comes from the Bloodguard, no name or ship type. The distance is too far away and recent intelligence reports are not available on this trip.
We set waypoints for Kusari space and off we go. Now I know how the ball in pinball feels like, man - do they ever slow down ? The answer is NO, full speed through asteroid fields in New Berlin system using uncharted jumpholes. I never knew there were so many of them and in no time, we arrive at the Hiruga system. Are you F...... KIDDING ME, a maze with minefields all over this system. SUICIDAL, thats what I call it. Phew, looking at the 3D scanner it might not be such a menace afterall. After a short time we deliver and leave this system. Think I almost had a heart attack in there.
Next job is from Kyushu, system is reached in no time via yet another uncharted jumphole. The commodity is Water poisoning supplies - say what?! - for delivery to Bretonia Mining and Metals (BMM) in Manchester. I still wonder why this is a necessary good. I would not be enemies with these guys.
A loud warning comes from the scanner: ALERT! ALERT! Police detected in system - evasive maneuvers recommended. Setting new waypoints. Now this is getting interesting. IOC are allied with the incoming police. Looking at the scanner shows veteran pilots from the BloodGuard (BG_Husker) and CrossFire Police Department ([CFPD]Michael) - We are going to DIE now. PLEASE I don't want to die today. I have so much news to tell my *cough* the public in Sirius.
SA_SNAKE powers up his engines and off we go in free space. Police is losing track of us and we dock at a jumphole leading to one of the TAU systems. Oh no, more asteroid fields, these system are full of them. I am gonna puke soon, but I didn't, I am staying strong, as always. TAU systems are flying by and soon we are in Manchester system for a safe delivery. Police still on our tails, but not that close.
Incoming transmission: Another order from Daumann Heavy Construction for the commodity Classified Artifact reports (CAR in short), for delivery deep in the Dresden system. What's going on here, AGAIN, I want off this ship, now. Pilots starring at me and then they laugh LOUD. Very funny guys, thanks. ALERT! ALERT! Police detected in system - evasive maneuvers recommended. Setting new waypoints. Pilots undock station and we are STUCK (editor: laughing has somehow stopped now). Pilots are struggling to get the ships free of the station and success. Phew this is close. A vioce on the computer yells "STOP this is the police". "Inspection". BG_Husker has caught up with us - TROUBLE - "Scanning ship". "Freighter captain SilverFox you are under arrest, under suspicion of trading highly illegal commodities". [CFPD]Michael joins in placing his ship in 90 degrees from our ship. Police are ready to CrossFire, if we move even a bit. Unfortunately the Battleships were sent to New London, to "clear the way". So no help available at this point. This is it, what will SilverFox do, at this point: Open fire and we will all be dead in seconds or surrender. To my big surprise he starts to negotiate, trying to convince Police to stand down. With the word "evidence" the computers are silent for a while. Yes, we are off the hook, but NO. BG_Husker tells that he has the evidence, scanning reports from TAU-31 jumpgate - What we didn't see him there. Do these guys have somekind of secret equipment, cloaking - but that's not even possible with today's technology. But I would love to investigate that story next - how to get near those guys? - Computer yells: "SilverFox your ship has traces of Black Market Goods (BMG in short), follow us to BPA Newgate at once, for further investigation." SilverFox answered quietly, "I bought this ship today on Trafalgar, so it must have been the previous owner." The Heavy Escort arrives from New London with another IOC Battleship (IOC)Horus. Man, now we are going to die for sure. No way to survive that kind of CrossFire - two Battleships and two VHF armed to the teeth. SA_Snake on the intercom: "Kill or not." This is getting out of hand now. SilverFox answered quick: "Wait, wait - stand down." SilverFox had to accept a fine - cheap for surviving that one.
I think, I will turn religious now, my nerves are thin and I am afraid of a heart attack. I want off this ships now, where's that escape pod? Ship is moving again. Computer now yelling: "Setting new waypoints, Trafalgar base, New London." ARE YOU KIDDING?!, another trip, i have to find that escape pod now. Roger Hotnoter searched the ship and he found what he was looking for. He entered the escape pod and hit the ESC button and away he was. It was just under Southhampton Shipyard

I have never ever heard of that news agency. It might be a cover for something else. Anyway I will have IOC Intelligence Agency to look into that. I have a bad feeling about this news, really disturbing news
