  • Time for me to add my 0.02$ ;)

    Fighters:
The allrounder: Saracen - this ship can be used for everything PvP, PvE, Exploration
ugly fish-thingie common in PvP: Cayman - ugly but agile
a great place to mount your AECs: King Tiger - 2 Turrets & 2 Torps (no CDs though)
great mission-ship/podder: Haidar - can keep killing fighter aces with 250+pods already in cargo

Capital Ships (all decent in asteroids):

    Inquisitor Dreadnought
    Liberty Dreadnought

    Liberty Cruiser

    Traders:
dock everywhere freighter: Bullpup Mk III - gotta love 6x10 guns + 3 turrets and dual-thrusters (good standing with BG required ;) )
    fast-docking cargo-monster: Miner
Time to roll in huge profits from select bases?: Soulforge Train

Characters: SA_WHISKY and all simlar (SA_something_WHISKY)

  • Good, thx for the reply.
But ATM I found something about Saracen...
Your shield down = hull goes off faster than you'll say "oops" (At least against DK gunboats), so keep maneuvering... Maybe I'm TOO used to a ship with 25k of armor :D

  • Bump.
Field tests of a Redemption PvE setup with six Kelyrd-rays and Weight Reduction 3 are on-going. Until now, there are no any problems with it, ship does great in Inner Core. Any alien fighter doesn't stands long, but energy does that too.

  • Okay, since this thread is bumped, time for me to "update" my own data.
    1) I've discovered Redemption's nice strafing speed. Helpful in Inner Core.
    2) Redemption with 6 Ther'non cannons is one hell of a hard hitter.
    3) Karak... Anybody gave it a try? I am doing it now, it has somewhat small forward profile.
    4) All player owned cruisers and destroyers are pretty much remodeling of the same ship.
