    I live in the UK and my ping is between 49-65 tops, and sometimes i still crash.
    Remember it also depends on the loss and packets sent, should be 0, any higher than
    5, will make it crash.
    Plus the amount of traffic on your internet provider will effect it too.


    What can help is a reset of modem, and a restart of your computer, clears all the crap.

    I can't do anything about the fact that my ping sucks, but the server still constantly crashes. and I mean you guys no disrespect. It's Just a little frustrating when I have a cargo hold full of cruiser captians, and I'm almost to a jail, and the server crashes and sends me back to the last base I was at and looses all of my escape pods I just spent half my day getting. :hmmmm:

    The server crashes because of people with bad ping , people with corrupted accounts and by people who wants to crash it on purpose. It's not the server's fault , but it's yours (don't get me wrong , not you specificaly).


    The server is pretty good , but if you people stop crashing it on purpose , stop downloading while playing , get a better internet and so on , you won't get any crashes.


    So do me a favor , don't blame something which you know it isn't " its " fault.

    to prevent that (really hurts) just change system time to time and server memorized your cargo etc

    Or you can immediately dock and undock too , also works

    By what I remember from what OP said, the crashes before this thread were because of the host, host issues, but if the last ones are related to high ping guys and such (cus corrupted files guys can't be on since they get moved to Pittsburg automatically)... that means few ones we know that have 600-900 ping are pretty much a problem. Good that this one I know changed his modem today xD


    So it should be better from now on, at least a bit.

    well thats good that that one guy changed his modem. I usually get a 150-300 ping. Seems bad because if i played fps with that sorta ping, they will kick me. XD

    Yeah , well... if you have a modem too and it's overheating , you should change it as well. Or find a way to cool down the heat a bit.

    how come in multi-player, when I collide with a hostile AI ship they fly really far back, and sometimes just disappear all together? happens to me all the time, and im like:
