Affilation Problem

    i have a STRANGE PROBLEM with my char ( PinkHorse ) .....


    that char have AFFILATION PROBLEM ..............


    This problem was happened because i want to change my affilation from DOM'KAVASH to COALITION ROGUES


    Ye ............... i think COALITION ROGUES is a UNIQUE thing :P so i do this step to get it :


    1.Go to ALTAIR to get a bribe for COALITION ROGUES


    2.Kill some FACTION .... i mean reduce the REPUTATION with bretonia , synth foods , bowex , etc-etc to make COALITION ROGUES On the second place in my REPOTATION after DOM'KAVASH


    3.Kill some NOMADS to Make DOM'KAVASH neutral to release the affilation and change it with COALITION ROGUES


    I'm so happy after i have do it all ( take a long time to do that ) . and the FINAL step is DOCK and UNDOCK with a station And ....... TADA !!!! i have COALITION ROGUES affilation.


    So i go to SIDEWANDER station in ALASKA to go for DOCK and UNDOCK and for sell some PODS too


    but ............... after i UNDOCK from SIDEWANDER .................... Something that UNBELIVEABLE happen ....


    And i say WTF !!!!!! not TADA !!


    i sat that because ............. my Affilation change to GMG !!! not COALITION ROGUES

    do you see it !! i have GMG affilation , not COALITION ROGUES ...


    After that i check my REPUTATION ..... I'm so CONFUSED because DOMKAVASH and GMG are neutral with me !!

    I CANT BELIEVE THAT !!!!


    Do you know if we have a AFFILATION for example -----> we have NAVY affilation ..... and if we see our reputation LIBERTY NAVY word is HIGHLIGHTED


    but not i here .... my COALITION ROGUES affilation not in highlighted

    GMG are hostile with me now ............ all GMG bases in SIRIUS is HOSTILE


    but .... the SECRET GMG station in OMEGA - 3 still FRIENDLY !! --------------> the HYPERGATE


    that is so strange ... please help me !!!!

    how many ancients have you killed before you did go down to altair?
    If it was too many, then you are "lucky" and you are permitted to wear the GMG tag for as long your ship is alive.


    and the GMG affiliation you have now might be the GMG2 affiliation and not the one from the GMG which is flying around in sirius.
    the GMG 2 are those who own the research facility in dervon but the faction itself does not fly around (got "removed" month ago)


    and why did you bribe the coalition rogue? too weak to kill coalition until you get the coal rogue affiliation ? c'mon it only takes about 300 coalition to kill to get the rogues affilitation and it saves a lot of cash :)
    been there done that ;)
    and this way are no other factions affected.
    thats why my char has no problem in sirius, docking anywhere and selling pods or whatever. :)


    vishnu's advice might work but it will take you a dang long time, since there are barely any missions available in dervon.
    and it does not only affect the GMG (actually GMG2)
    once you get the GMG2-affiliation you are most likely stuck to it.

    because my char PinkHorse is pirate .... and
    COALITION ROGUES is the best for Pirate maybe....
    Actually i can make COALITION ROGUES and COALITION friendly with me
    As you know if we do some mission for COALITION .... we not only kill COALITION ROGUES .... but ome other faction like SAMURA and BOUNTY HUNTER
    And .... coalition is NEUTRAL with me now :D

    Hello utrack!
    No it wouldn't work since only ships and storage depots (and weapon platforms??) can affect your rep when destroyed.


    If you aren't going to sell your BS, the only way for you is to join someone else doing missions in Dervon. I think R@F1 will be happy to help. :)

    going to Dervon is probably your only choice.


    once your there accept any message you get, cancel any mission without escorts immediately. if there are escorts, kill them then fail the mission.


    unless GMG2 ships spawn somewhere in the universe, this is probably the fastest way.


    MIGHT be possible to accelerate the process further by grouping up with someone and doing the above stuff together. not sure about this.
