so right as I was leaving the huntsville prison in the texas system the server booted me now when I logged back in my ship is stuck inside the prison no matter what I do. How do I fix this?

Hello kilroy,
you have two options:
1) move ship near entry tube and wait until npc (or ask another player) will dock. this will open doors and you can fly to space
2) move ship to wall and use missiles,torps, mines for destroy your ship ... you will respawn docked.
first variant need little patience but works.
update
... or I think GR (galaxy ranger) can kill you via console and you respawn docked (unconfirmed)

Depending on the docking bay's form, you can also press F3 yourself and the ship can eventually get out if you put the ship in the right direction.

I always use Michael's suggestion and it works for me .... no selfkill, etc ...

If he has bad luck then he got stuck between the "tunnel of the docking bay" and the rest of the prison building.
Like it is when you get stuck in Kyoto Base (Chugoku), or Bruchsal base (Frankfurt). no way to fly to the docking bay "within" the station.
Got stuck such a way myself and was only lucky that I had that mean mines to kill myself.
No player nor NPC's outside could even hit me. -
Yeah it's the most unpleasant way of being locked inside the station.
My friend once got stuck in a same way in Ronnenburg Base on his Large Transport, so I had to kill him with torpedoes' splash damage when his ship was near the surface (guns couldn't hit him even when a part of his ship was visible from the outside).@Kilroy: I hope it's not your case, but mind this option if nothing else helps. There is always way exit
one time i stuck inside karnak prison (no airlock), but i found way back (NPC hunter only guns and no torps or mine).When i stuck in airlock ...SPACE (lavel ship) and f3=> dock or escape when door is open.

Well, taking in account the situation, the rules against selfkill make an exception on this
