    I'm at a point where I picked up the device. At a point where I get the message that there's a second gate being build in coalition space. 'Get a job' the message also said.


    So I landed. I still had some datadisks so sold those for loads of money. Now I'm level 67 and I still get no new mission! Also my current worth is like 50 mil and next level requirement says...18 million. I'm already worth more then that!


    How do I advance to the next mission?

  • Methinks open ending allows further things in the future 8). @ CF team...I very much enjoyed the new missions.

  • The story simply was developed just till chapter 9... the next chapter would bring the CF story to an end
    and for this 4 missions are required


    between that there is enough room for optional missions and quests

  • Hi , I also wondered about the next mission.
    It was great to see the next part of the story and I am really looking forward to the next part.


    One suggestion: There was very little free time inbetween the missions to look around, loot the wrecks and build up the ship.
    I flee the Titan all until the end of this part of the story.
    May be an idea for the future.

  • problem is that the mission structure does not allow us to give free mission times
    but maybe we can find a workaround to this technical problem

  • Partly solution can be use the same way as in mission where you are searching for Dervon JH in Utopia ... there is no limit and trigger is launched only when you are near JH.

    I made a suggestion about more free time between the Crossfire missions.


    I understand that there are technical difficulties to implement this free time between the Crossfire missions.
    Maybe this free time could be implemented like it has been done in the original story line, when i.e. Juni tells you to meet on Planet Cambridge or with a level up requirement.
    This could further extend the time of playing.


    These are just ideas. I have no idea what these technical difficulties look like so, I leave it to you, the programmers.


    Again, very good job done with the Crossfire story line. Very interesting and catchy.


    One more suggestion: Could you add the different sectors to the map screen. That might give a better overview and you don´t need to click from system to system.
    I got the sector maps printed out but an ingame map of the different sectors would be great.

  • thats exactly the problem
    the freetime in original FL is done while switching from one mission definition to the next... which is possible
    but the CF storyline is already written on the last mission definition... -> nothing follows and FL does not allow the creation of more definitions
