desktop crash

    i have been playing crossfire for a while now without any problems and on realease of cf 1.82 freshly downloaded everything and continued playing with great experiences but suddenly on the last two times get into the game and will start a mission or explore and the whole lot crashes or the screen just freezes it,s got me baffled whats going on any idea,s than doing the normal checks

    Corrupt instalation with some of the NPC bodies part at the bar (as you said it crashes at the bar when starting mission? as one situation like this happened lately, was fixed with reinstall ).


    If you had msinet ocx error, and didn't cleared it all before retrying is a start of something like theese crashes, even if you replaced a file manually or such to make it activate.

    no the crash seem to happen when i was out in space in the middle of battle doing the mission i should of explained a bit more clear sorry. i logged out of crossfire launcher and left the game for a while doing other computer work to see if it had something to do with it the computer, like automatically updating some other program at the same time then about an hour later relogged on to the launcher and no problem so i will continue on my enjoyment of a great mod and many pilots keep up the good work team we appreciate it

    Well, that bug is minor, and it's not from the game... so we can't rlly do something on that except telling what you can do.


    Hope it isn't too disturbing, and if it is... try reinstalling everything, but keep a copy of that install, the second can also get worse :D Even I don't know how it can go bad...

    as i indicated thats why i went out of the game to check that as i said that it was an outside problem causing the disruption to the game but for what ever it was it has not done it since great for me.
    i always appreciate the teams help on problems and must say quick response.
