somehow I have the feeling that it's not going to become quite gently

no doubt it won't become any gently
on the opposite way, I'm kinda sure it's getting quite mean
especially if you are not really prepared for those incoming damage requests, sent by some angry and really pissed invaders

LOL! We'll have to start issuing public "amber alerts" or in this case daily "ALIEN ALERTS" in Sirius and Altair for random alien invasions!
We'll need all SA to start scouting, investigating and reporting daily for any signs of alien invasions in Sirius or Altair. I'll get with you later about this Admiral.

Is 'Dynamic Universe' already in the game or is it still yet to come? -

Currently only the Dynamic Economy is active on the server. The Dynamic Universe known from Crossfire 1.7 is going to be fully reworked.
That means every day the trade routes change for your ship, so keep it well informed.

but, huh, isnt this the dymanic ECONOMY ?
the dynamic universe thingy is the aliens invasions and random jump gates/holes shutting down, etc... if i recall. And no this is not yet ready...

As ARROW says, more or less,
Dynamic Economy is not he same as Dynamic Universe.
The economy one is ON, the universe one is half on, active (as OP said) but incompleete, as teh gate in Custodian can get closed, or the rift in Sol affected by solar weather, DKs don't invade anymore, and the new options like weather that damages your shp for a day or such stuff is still Off.
