  • Yes, USS Sarajevo, Istanbul-class vessel was in the 24 century during ST DS9, probably used too in Enterprise. They used all kinds of city names. And why not? Sarajevo is a large city, has more than a million people living in it, and it was at one point host for the Olympics.

Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • Worf is Russian after all. The earth in star trek is under a world government after all, so there is no reason why people and vessel would come from all over the world.

  • Gimme your opinions :D and explanations why would a luxury liner in space where only Americans seem to be travelling through space be named "Sarajevo"? :)

Because Americans already owned Sarajevo a long while ago and until now... so they can use names that for us now aren't americans cus by then all ones on Earth are American :D Like the New World Order :P
