Bug Report: Feature?

    When starting a new character...your ship appears to be invincible until you have docked for the first time after lifting from Manhattan.


    I was able to fly straight through a mine field with 0 damage.


    I was able to fly to a certain system that holds a 9 million credit datadisk and return to Manhattan.


    Bug, or feature?

    I`ve experienced it aswell, but it seems to work only with the Starflier. Never left NY in it though, so i thought it`s some sort of new player protection from PVP in NY.

    Assumption is the mother of all fuckups.


    Being a Cynic isn't that bad. Either I'm right or I am pleasantly surprised.

    Being invulnerable in NY is normal. This is different, new chars are totally invulnerable until they dock somewhere for the first time. In or out of NY.


    And could a mod move this to the right section?

    Its a feature allowing ppl to launch from manhattan get money/equip from transfer of another char and go buy a new ship somewhere without being blowned into pieces by simple rogues on your way....


    Very useful for that but offer not any other advantage really....

    so it's supposed to be like that?


    dang. should have kept the cash. :/ oh well...at least it's still there...just gonna need better shields to get it this time. :)

    Ha, I wasn't aware of that. It seem easily exploitable to go get the data-disk!
