That last one seem to fit best with the design of the ships. Maybe if there was a bit more integration between the machine and the alien. Since The DK seem to use organic machinery I would expect an integration of semi organic components into them selfs.

I mean technology half way between the borg and specie 8478 from star treck, but with the general body shape of that last alien you posted.

I concur with myric's statement; the last picture is how I would imagine DK's to look a like out of all the other images

well first of why whould they actually be humanoidic ? alien pecies could be looking like samthing you can`t actually imagin but aliens are even worms or bacteria which come out of outer space so...even if the humen pecies thinks that it is the best and the and what not balo bal bal (will not go it to it as it would end with me wrighting a whole book here )

so i think that the DK`s could have a well not oganic look

I think inspiration from the Nomads would be good. Kind of tantaculus creatures not blue, maybe brown like their organic technology.

And besides, a race that creates another would probably put some of itself in the new specie so they share the same basic abilities. Possibly Nomads were quite ressembling the DK although their genetic code was modified to have a lesser brain to perform the defensive task as good passive slaves.

I might not have the DK's level of intelligence so this may be wrong but if i was to create a species to enslave and protect my stuff i would make it quite resembling to mine cause the human body, from my point of view, is an extraordinary machine capable of many feats. I'm having difficulty to imagine something different than an human do to a human's job !

Good for the invertebrate theory in general, make it ressemble a bit their own creations (Nomads) in shape and color them the same as their technology (brownish).

Thinking at the DK's story, in the MP storyline, the third one, last one , and some good looking but warrior-style pics works. Some here are so abominating.... that I'd want to wash my eyes xD

The DKs has to be intelligent/wise, advanced in technology and not looking like big pieces of hell.
