Id problem

    I cant see my char id using start>programs>microsoft games>freelancer>examin my account id.
    i get a word pad with the html code.
    i saved it as html,opened it.
    a web page opened but there was no id jut "Your freelancer account id is".




    does each char have a different char id or the same one?
    im gonna create another char anyway so i can probably look at it from there if all chars have the same id.

    There is ONE FL ID by each account, one each account there are 5 chars max, and you have just 1 account, so just 1 FL ID that you can see at Microsoft Games > Freelancer > EXE > "myflaccountid" icon.

    yes, you can create chars until it won't allow you, and you still have the same account ID :)


    Download the ID account manager program from the Download section of this forum, and it will show it, 100 % sure :D

    NOOOOOOO.
    My stupid AV has removed freelancer.exe
    I HAD put it in my exclusions.
    How can i use regdit to know my MP id.
    Will i have the same id if i reinstall on the same computer?
    Cmon guys stop ignoring this post.

    well i cant see that 1 either.
    NOw i had tro uninstall the games but forgot to note down my account no.
    will my id be the same if i install now on the same computer?

    I just have one char on it.
    Or can install with the different id, i cant give him my id and he can transfer that chat(it is the only one i deletet the other one i had) into my new account.
    Cmon there has to be some way....i wanted the alien torps.
    All he has to do is to transfer the the char.
    Im getting Fried out here.


    Anyway, back to playing Freespace....stupid cappella star turned supernova.

    If you do't touch your PC, delete it all and reinstall, the game , when you start it for first time will give you an offer of an ID.... that'll be your old ID. At least that works with Windos XP and Vista... I it's like a matter of the hardware ID.

    whatif i uninstalled it with everything.
    I have installed Fl but have not run it.
    Will this work?
    Well should i install CF first?
    OR take a look at the id first?

    I got saved!
    My id was the same and i have got a copy of it now.So im not an ID loser anymore:P
    but now the launcher does not appear.
    I have to go to EXE2 and launch from there but still no launcher.The game just starts.
    And btw i have tried cursor set one visible but not so cool.
    someone told me about a cursor set which was visible and had a techno look to it.

    I have reinstalled everithing and doe all procedures according to the CF guide and i got the launcher back but now im getting the E12 error.
    NO miltiplayer available.





    EDIT:WEll i fixed it.
