    Without announcement to the modders the Mod of the year awards have started. For some unknown reason the awards start earlier and the voting does only last 2 weeks. It is questionable that we reach the top100 again but at least we can try it.


    Vote for CF. Tell your friends to vote, family, whoever else is able to register there. This is the ultimate chance to boost CF and give CF1.8 a head start.

    I also post that sig-button on other popular sites where there're a lot of people, so all my friends see it :D maybe 50 or 100 of them vote.

    Id like to send out a newsletter to get more votes. Can somebody please write something nice?
    You can write such stuff better than i do.


    Content should be a bit about the features and compexitivity of the mod, the ask for support, the release of the mod in january, possible future developments if we get enough support and finally the support for the entire FL community.


    PPl should also try to vote after the mods reach the top100, of course they should vote for CF but they also should vote for other FL mods they like because we want to promote the game aswell.

    Yep, I'm making such stuff to send them by PM to all members of my groups arround facebook and pages like that... just on FB I have about 400 supporters, and offering gifts in the mini games there helps a lot.


    As I know this is like get votes by any means (except cheating... moddb has a good security :D ) so making this mod and Freelancer popular will help... even neither 90 % of the ones who vote start playin FL.

    no... thats the rank we have regarding the amount of people that clicked on CF 1.8 to have a look at it

    @ OP, I think an automatic e-mail about this to all people registered in this forum would help a lot... I saw that working with another mod I was registered in their forum.


    The e-mail should have all what's normal, a link to CF on moddb, a text about the issue, thx and all the rest ^^

    Is this voting for CF 1.7 or 1.8? Why would we vote for 1.8 if we haven't seen it and has done so much harm around here before its release?
    If it's for 1.7 OK You will have my vote cause it is truely the best mod for Freelancer PC.

    You cantake it as vote for CF 1.8 if you want to play it :D the voting ends after 1rst jan... so you'll have the CF 1.8 by then. So you can vote since now hehe

    Voted, but too bad we don't have anything new to show this year (actual playable stuff), kinda like last year.
    Personally, I don't really think that we can be successful with a couple of years old version (while we have been previously, which means a lot).
