Crossfire - Swat Toolbar for FF and IE !

    A NEW update to CF's community public toolbar:


    The active threads on Swat forum button. One click wherever you are, visiting some forum or games site, and you'll appear logged in your own account and on the newest (by order) threads ! ^^



    Any usseful ideas ? Plz share them ^^


    Click on any toolbar's picture on this thread or link, to automaticly install the very usseful toolar ^^ free, no viruses spys or bugs, it maks no problems with AV or anything else... usseful, needed for a veteran, etc :D

    @OP, could you posibly make/remake that "Online People or Server Status" part on your FL CF site as the server is more, stable now ? The one of opr8r.lima-city ... as I was using that site for this toolbar too, to let people see the server status or ppl online at one click :D

    CF Community Toolar fixes for 2.6.2 since 2.6.1:
    --The active threads on Swat forum button. One click wherever you are, visiting some forum or games site, and you'll appear logged in your own account and on the newest (by order) threads ! ^^


    --People Online and server Status button fixed. Now, wherever you are, at one click you can see if the server is down, or if it's working, you can see how many ppl are online ^^


    --A new link in the "Extra Links" section on the toolbar, that will redirect you to our mod's brand new/updated and improved page on moddb ! There you can find new and old people posting about the mod, asking and answering questions.


    --Bored of waiting for sombody to pot, or for a PM, or simply want to make a break ? Now CF's Community Toolbar has a TV console, and many channels. At one click you'll have a small window with a TV channel from the main countries, without disturbing your previous window. At a double click the TV windows get on fullscreen !
    Post if you like or dislike this, new TV feature.



    Still searching to upgrade with usseful things, but I'll need some opinions and ideas from you mates :)

    I knew a tool bar was being made, but I never really looked at it till now. This is just what I needed. Now I can jump around and check on things without a bunch of tabs, or entering the web addy into google all the time. Thanks!

    Now installed. Like the email feature very much. Maybe now I'll notice when someone sends mail to one of my many accounts.


    I must ask however, how does the weather component check my region? I get a town somewhat close by, but not quite close enough. Seeing as there is no "adjust town" setting, it's useless to me unless I can figure out it's detection.

    Yes, it's made to make all travelling arround as fast as one click ^^ even searching all new posts in a forum, and chat, ppl online,email features, etc etc.


    It's programmed to read the IP, some info about the exact location of your PC and put the city of what it reads. Mostly done to be easy.


    To change the location, and the look of how it appears, you can one-click on it, normally like any other botton. There you see several features in a small window. There you can change location, see more info, extended forecast, or change to ºF instead of ºC.

    Any ideas to improve the toolbar ? It already has all forums, including ASF, some maps database, server sites, CF @ moddb, search egines, email features, people online, server status, etc... :D

    Ideas? Well I dunno if this would be doable, but since the tool bar is so informative and useful, I guess I should give back as it were. Is it possible to add an event tracker for server events? On the server itself, it sometimes displays messages about the ASF/CSF fights, or other such events. It would be nice if it had a component that listed these and their outcomes. It would aid the server's dynamic system.


    And what about a personal event component, so if I say made a deal to patrol a certain sector with a player at at particular time, I can be reminded of it.. or at least review it. That has several uses.. BG training at X time? Add it in.. This week is the server meeting or something? Add it in. etc etc.

    Yes, I could make tickers, like a text that is rolling on a small bar in a corner like an announcement [____<--Meeting at x] [ting at x___Sele].


    But I need a place, or something that sends data to it... and there's none. Also, it can't be nothing personal, or only for a clan, every user will see the same.

    - a "bother OP" button
    - an admin version with a "ignore all" function

    ..not if you hid something in the tool bar's code.. every time he hits the button, we get his whiskey! lol jk


    Anyway what about instead of tickers having a module docked in it? Sorta like a calendar feature, but more like a day planner that you see after you click on the button or something.

    It has everything, of all known clans and exterior sites including even how to instal, or modb, or chat, or the latest active threads on Swat, all the community at 1 click ^^

    Swat Toolbar will be updated with the newest site of Swat Portal when it gets ready :)


    Due to the Portal's work-in-progress, the "Peopl Online" feature is disabled too.


    Any other ideas to improve the toolbar, or any bugs, this is the place for them ^^


    And again, yes, the link will be the same, and more, any updates made to the toolbar will be updated automaticly on client's toolbars without needing to reinstall it, or press a button to accept the update, it changes alone as I change it ^^
    So, once you install it, you have nothing to worry about it anymore.

    People online and server status are fully functional now...



    Also made the Active threads button get you to the Search option... but it seems impossible to make it work correctly as before Swat 2.0, as every new search of active threads has a different ID, so it can't be made in 1 same click... unless OP gives a hand :D
