Hi,
I recently got Freelancer, (I know, about 6 years too late) and am really enjoying it. I was wondering if there is some way to do barrel rolls or some similar maneuver so I can fly through thin spaces sideways. It seems like being able to do that when dogfighting around bases and such would make that very handy, but I haven't figured out if there is some way to do it. Is there a key that does that in the stock game and if not, are there any mods that allow it?

Yes there is a mod out there that you can download to allow you to do this. However on some servers it is considered a cheat. Although some people here use it, I would check with the Admin of the server that you intend on using it and make sure you don't get in trouble.

You can do a barrel roll in CF

thx DarkOmen, that is possible but only in non free flight. Go to the options menu and look for activating rolling in your key settings.
