For some reason this thread was intented to introduce some information about what changes in gameplay are comming CF 1.8. This thread is not meant to discuss if CDs spammers or Missiles spammers are in advance. So please start new thread if you feel to post something about this.

People will whine and moan the first couple of weeks about all kinds of changes in 1.8, then they will adapt, get used to how things work and start to whine and moan about other things, most likely the same things they have always been whining and moaning about.

Will you be able to use your old character and old setup in the new mod or you have to start all over?
Hi Keli - cant remember to have seen you in game - when was that?
BTW - we are trying to make a char transfer between the mods, but at the moment we cant guarantee that everything is working proper... so lets see what time will bring.

when missiles will come without cm => bye bye ship
now peeps wont spam cd for missiles blocks, they'll spam cd to stop EK and to waste cm 
and like bauer said, make different refire rates for new guns, care about gunners a bit
maybe with enuff guns we'll all be gunso 
8.88 refire rate will be the best gun, cause ships are fast and those can hit the target due t their speed and refire, BUT make em eat very much energy

8.88 fire rate guns with decent damage are lame and bring the balance to ruin. The game becomes ugly and boring with it...
not rly if they make em eating energy, make eating 180 energy and you'll see
or maybe 300, so energy will go down faster, and make missiles eats energy too so 8.88 would be a good step.
also why not putting repair turrets on the next mod? D:
do many refires, 8.88, 16.88, 4.00, 5.00, 3.00, 2.00 and put the nomad lasers if needed
the last ones ae very strong, eas big amount of energy but wud be hard to hit with em, as ships are fast on CF and they would be effective ony by skilled guys in aim.

ah yes, OP, forgot to mention, if theres still gonna be Arena for pvp practice, pls add a mooring fixture to planet Issos, cuz I sometimes wanna practice pvp against capitals too, and then they have to travel after every death from X-3043
just request more and more for 1.8 so it will need more and more time...
more and more time better than less and less quality mod <_<
