Any Ships with a cloaking Device?

    Noone ship haven`t this device in CF 1.7. As i know, there is a console command, but no device in game. However, rumours told me that something will change with cloaking in near future, but it could be just rumours.^^ Be patient, have fun with current action- there are many different ways to play in this awesome mod.

    There are currently no ships with a cloaking device.


    It was obviously something that was tried and abandoned, I don't know the details but I have seen a few comments around that made that make me think it was something that caused some big arguements.


    Rumour has it that in CF1.8 this technology may return.

    Well it was definately implemented at one point.


    I remember chasing a tax evader one time in NB - there were two of us chasing this guy - we had him on our screen visible - and he just disapeared right infront of us.

    Same here! was trying Dial up at the time.
    Was being pursued by a hell of alot of Outcast and
    all of a sudden some guardian angel kicked but behind
    me. i think i saw a that special orange laser, so i turn
    around and everybody was dead! it spooked me out for
    weeks! lol
