Events in crossfire are set to take place at certain times. due to the nature of the world timezones GMT is used. Would it be possible to include a simple digital clock in the mod telling GMT? I'm sure it would be helpful to many players if it could be done.

there is the /time command
-
simply use the command /time when you are logged on the server.
sidenote: GMT has NO daylight saving time, the server's "GMT" tho has^^.
It can be very confusing sometimes. If the "real GMT" differs from servertime, servertime has priority when it comes to events so you are pretty save using the /time command. -
Use /time it always tells the time you need to identify when will an event start from what I remember 20:00 server time...

WET is only GMT in winter
WET is servertime anytimei think the time in which server events take place should be indicated as server time and not GMT, as GMT is confusing in summer...
-
Eh ? Time is confusing all the time [694]. The easiest way is just to remember what is when and when is your's time ;] That's how I do it.
-
I live in GMT -7 hrs., and we do not use daylight savings time here, so GMT is a constant for me. I cannot fathom why people cannot remember their own times zones, and adjust accordingly...

Sunday morning, 25 August 2008, 0000 hours GMT, sessions begin in earnest!
Once again for the slow thinkers among us, i.e. me: is that midnight on the night of Saturday to Sunday or midnight on the night of Sunday to Monday? -
00:00 25th is Monday... it has to be a mistake in the sentance...
-
GMT is always constant ,DO NOT confuse it with BST .(just ignore BST if ur in UK)

is that midnight on the night of Saturday to Sunday or midnight on the night of Sunday to Monday?
From the Portal announcement:
QuoteThe event ALWAYS starts Saturday/Sunday midnight, ending the following Saturday midnight...
The date was a typo, since Sunday morning was the 24th. :-/
