Flash in Forum Signature

    Hello all,
    First off I know this is in the wrong section, I tried to look for a better section to put this question but could find none. So if a mod see this please inform me where to stick this question so in the future I can keep the forum boards clean.


    Here is the question: I have seen a lot of peoples signatures, very large and gorgeous. I am a Flash Developer and would like to add a signature using flash. I need to know what i would need to do to add it. I know we use the IMG tag to setup an external image that is hosted somewhere on the net, Can I use that same tag to direct my signature to a swf file off my personal web host? If not, then does anyone know the correct tag or syntax to use so i may point it to my website to use the swf file.


    I really appreciate anyone's help and if someone can help me to get a Flash Signature in my Sig I will create them one also.

    i think the signatures are big enough
    a player with slow i-net might get problems browsing the forum if it takes too long to load and flash sigs might get disturbing
    only need to remind some ppl on the singing girl that i used to annoy some ppl here

    one og the pirates once had a chatbox in his sig. A friggin' chat box! that noone never ever needs/wants/uses. the whole thing was like 1000px or so in height!

    Most signatures take ages to load even without flash.
    I wonder why people are still using imageshack which is known to be the worst image host ever^^.
    By default I stop picture load on these forums here at ~50%. I dont get all sig pics but atleast I get them in time.


    Also you can tell if OP has posted in a thread even before its done loading indicated by the 125+ pics loading bar on my browser^^.

    lol, but true. OP could make those small medals into a one big image... It'd be alot faster to load instead of 20 or so small images.

    not the pics take so long to load... the image descriptions (alt text) and the urls take so long ^^

    in my home conn, the forum takes ages to load atm... think with flash... poof!


    huh, imageshack looked good for me, at least they don't make the hosted images offline *thinks about photobucket*
