Not entirely true, you forgot to move in "and/or play 1.7" after the wait ^^.
I'm not so umpatience man(exept about the movies) i will play 1,7 even whole life no matter when it will comes out so,, give a little rest to OP and just play 1,7 untill 1,8 comes out^^
