if you have found Altair then you should have no problem finding Gurm.
if you havent found Altair then try the CF quest. look for something lootable near the station in Nephele.

the jumphole is in the center of the sector. believe me - u CAN'T miss it

When you are the exact centre of C4 face the south and you will reach the Dimensional Rift in about 50k distance.

The rift can be seen 80 k away so just look for a big shiny spinning globe.
