Crossfire 1.70 client edition problems

    I'm a bit new to CF so don't expect me to know everything!


    Anyway I'm running CF 1.70 client edition add it tells me i need to download vr 1.68 to access the new systems.
    This brings me to the problem I cant find anything other than 1.70 client edition! Can anyone help?

    i wonder what "vr 1.68" is


    but 1.70 is the latest mod version... there is a Crossfire version 1.70a which does update the crossfire launcher in case the launcher is not able to update itself due to the different langues and codetables

    maybe he is referring to some outdated infocard? [there are many] - i also found one (in 1.7) that said that the newest version is 1.6something...

    The problem is access to the systems i cant find any jump holes or gates! As for 1.68 it's a BBS message i get at every station.


    PS does this have any relation to CF it claims to be vr 1.10.0

    anyone know anything about the BBS message that tells me I need to download vr 1.68
    to access the new systems?
    like what vr 1.68 is or why its even there.
    probably just a bug but Im curious.


    by the way is there a save game converter for this mod
    cuz I have a really sweet vanilla game!

    No. Just use FLMM to switch between mods, if you must, and be sure to move your savegames out of the FL saves folder before launching a different mod than the one the save was created in. Failure to do so can result in CTD's and server crashes, with people being grumpy at you over it... ^^
