The Infinity Lock Box, containing prizes from nearly all previously-retired Lock Boxes, will be available again for an appearance beginning on PC on April 11th and on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon after. During this time, enemies defeated on both Ground and Space maps will have a small chance of dropping one of these prize-filled packages. When the Infinity Lock Box returns, we’re making some changes to make it easier than ever to acquire a Lock Box! Starting April 11th on PC, you’ll be able to get the current lock box – in this case, both the Emperor’s Lock Box and the Infinity Lock Box – for free in the Dilithium Store. We’re also adding a bundle of twenty of each box, also for free, in the C-store! Due to its popularity among players, we will not be following our usual pattern of retiring the Emperor Lock Box, when the Infinity Lock Box begins this run. Instead, both will continue

has released another update to his exciting

    Prophecy Unlimited

tech kit. The project helps form part of the high tech backbone behind well known projects like the Prophecy & Secret Ops Model Upgrade Pack. This iteration provides a variety of fixes, tests out some potential future features and builds in compatibility for further improvements by other modders. DefianceIndustries is planning to incorporate it into the next MUP, but you can get ahead of the pack and drop the new .dll right into your MPP install with the package

    .

Ok new version which is being reworked a little inside. I'm releasing it now mainly to solve crashes people are seeing but also for development of MUP.

    Changes:

    • Fixed some incorrect offsets in Secret Ops CD, causing crashes when staring spaceflight
    • Replaced wcpunl.cfg with wcpunl.ini
    • Removed ultraNightmare
    • Added TurretRefireFromBulletIff default to 0

Independent company Vitadyne Labs has developed an innovative new form of nanomedicine.

Professor Katrien Rook published the following press release:

"Nanomeds are sophisticated pharmaceuticals that use nanoscale materials to repair cell damage on a molecular level. They can heal any injury in a fraction of the normal time, and can potentially cure almost any disease and infection."

"Furthermore, regular use of nanomeds affects cellular senescence, drastically slowing the ageing process. In theory, nanomed users will live between 30 and 50 years longer, and will enjoy near-perfect health during those extra decades."

"After months of trials we are inviting medical authorities, including the Interstellar Health Organisation, to review our data. Pending approval, we hope to have Vitadyne nanomeds on the market soon."

Greetings Captains, Tim ‘Suricata’ Davies here! One of the highlights of my job as a marketing artist is when I occasionally get to work on the Okudagrams for Star Trek Online. Back in 2014 I created the MSD for the Voyager bridge, and over the years I helped out here and there, such as with the Engineering LCARS for the Galaxy class interior and, more recently, with the huge array of Cardassian panels on the DS9 revamp. With the upcoming Expansion ‘Victory is Life’, it seemed like a good time to take on a side project I’d had on the backburner for a while, a new Defiant MSD to give out as a poster at our conventions! I’ve always been a huge fan of the Defiant so it was great to finally get around to working on this poster. Instead of just releasing the wallpaper though, I thought it might be interesting for some of our players to actually see the process that goes into creating these

We've had a number of non-English language vids in the news lately... and here's another one! But in the various translation methods aren't quite your style, this one has been helpfully translated in real time by native Russian speaker enilenis. Seeing WC on vintage television programs was always a rarity, and catching an international show was even harder, so we're really lucky that opportunities like this exist! This one comes from the Russian program "Hard Off." It covers Wing Commanders 1-3, but the focus is on the flashy FMV of the latter title. WC3 was a big mainstream crossover!

Dennis Mull is back with another wonderful Wing Commander find. The latest addition to his collection is the Special Edition of Wing Commander Prophecy. While these are fairly uncommon in English, it's even more rare to see a German one floating around. The main differences are the Cobalt 60 soundtrack as well as the awesome Wasp mouse pad. This is a nice pickup!

Two eminent corporations have merged to form one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the galaxy.

Allied Medical Industries, based in Alliance space, has united with Neosalve Inc., a conglomerate that supplies medicines to a great many independent systems.

The new mega-corporation, Neomedical Industries, will sell a drugs, equipment and services to both Alliance and independent systems.

The merger was closely monitored by the Interstellar Health Organisation (IHO), an official inter-superpower body that regulates developments in medical science.

In the pharmaceutical arena, only the Vandermeer Corporation, which supplies medicines exclusively within Federal territory, is of a comparable size to the newly formed Neomedical Industries.

During the CIC 20th Birthday celebrations we

    launched

    our

    Game Cabinet

feature. This allows you to try out the WC1 and WC2 rolling demos from within your browser - no installation required! By tweaking a few things, we have been able to unlock a bit of extra performance so those demos now run more smoothly. But more importantly, we have been able to add the WC3 playable demo to the collection! The demo features a trailer cinematic followed by a playable mission, although it requires a fairly beefy machine to run completely smoothly. Check it out

It’s time to test your skills and build your best mission – it’s time to take part in a Foundry Challenge! The Foundry is Star Trek Online’s system for creating your own missions for other Captains to try, and we’re teaming up with the Foundry Roundtable for this edition of their monthly Foundry Challenge. Participate by making a mission of your own, and you could win a T6 Infinity Promo Choice Pack! That’s right, the winner will have their choice of one of the ships listed on this blog, including the new Hur'q Dreadnought and the Constitution class! The winning entry will also be featured on an upcoming Ten Forward Weekly. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to create a Foundry mission for a Jem’Hadar or Cardassian Captain. The plot may be anything you wish, as long as it is geared toward either or both of these playable races. You’ll have until September 21st to
