…We've just released a new update. It comes with a few tweaks and bugfixes as well as two new devices and one new consumable. It also makes our first major expansion "Encounters" available for purchase.
Unfortunately this update is currently not available for XBox One and on the Windows Store. We currently don't have a working Windows store version after upgrading to Unreal Engine 4.16 and can't give you an estimate when we will be able to release it.

- Decreased drone disassembler resource drop quality and quantity, added fuel drop probability
- Slightly increased energy consumption and decreased effect of target decelerator
- Outlaw Snipers can no longer be affected by Mainframe Override
- Encounters - Removed Sentinel class restriction for Seeker missile battery
- Encounters - Engine Boosters no longer affect ship steering sensitivity
- Encounters - Reduced Engine Booster MK2 and MK3 efficiencies
- Encounters - Randomize Mod now has a higher tendency to yield beneficial values
- Encounters - Highlight freight containers in Eleks second mission
- Encounters - Changed Viridian Energy drop chance of Okkar Corvettes from 80% to 100%, also reduced drop amount in hardcore mode

…We've finally managed to bring the Xbox One and Windows Store version up to date (including a large number of tweaks and bugfixes as well as the Hardcore Mode). Please note that the Encounters Expansion is not ready, yet and is scheduled for February/March 2018.
Unfortunately, it took a lot longer than we'd hoped for to port the game to Unreal Engine 4.16. Thanks a lot for your patience!

…Inevitably, every fandom winds up with some pretty amazing fan art to add to the ever-growing universe. The most fun in the fan art department is when fandoms collide to create interesting parallels or adorable crossovers. One such artist decided to bring a little purity to Arcadia Bay with a Life is Strange Animal Crossing mashup that is so adorable there may be tears (to which LiS fans are used to).
Tumblr artist Unoobang decided that a Life is Strange Animal Crossing mashup was just the way to ring in the holidays.
