    Hello!

Thanks for continuing to share your feedback and reporting issues to us – we’ve been working hard on our next patch which is coming to both PS4 and PC today! Here’s a look at the fixes and changes you can expect:

    • Fixed an issue where large numbers of portal visits would be added to save files, greatly increasing the save size and impeding the ability to save the game. We’re aware there are still some players experiencing this issue, and we’re currently investigating any remaining reports.
    • Prevented the terrain editor draining in charge when editing empty voxels
    • Prevented players being able to edit terrain outside their base radius for free while standing inside their base
    • Fixed responses made to Artemis and Apollo at times being incorrectly tracked
    • Prevented players being blocked from progressing if they decline to enter glyphs into a particular story portal
    • Fixed instances where Atlas text was appearing

of WC1-era ships and thought something was missing, you're right! The Confed lineup now has its star medium fighter, the Rapier.

And last but certainly not least in our 2655 Confed fighter lineup - the F-44A Rapier II. Fast, nimble, and equipped with God's own shields, it pretty much typifies fighter combat in the WC universe. Is it any wonder we still seem them popping up in the Nephilim war? Though it begs the question, what was the Rapier I?

Hello space pilots! We've released a quick hotfix patch for PS4 that adds the Traditional and Simplified Chinese localization back again, which accidentally got lost in one of our earlier patches. We apologize for the inconvenience that this caused! The patch also contains a small fix in the projectile system.

    • Fixed that the Traditional and Simplified Chinese localizations were falling back to English
    • Fixed that splitter glyph additional projectiles were having incorrect range/lifetime

has a neat new audio treat for fellow fans. He's recorded a classic Star*Solder article to test out his new audio gear. If the story doesn't ring a bell, it's the one that details some of the exploits and fate of the final surviving Midway class megacarrier that fought in the Nephilim war. It's a very creative reading with music and sound effects layered in! You can find the original text on page 23 of the manual

In order to test my new semi-professional microphone and practice my skills in Adobe Audition, I produced an Audio Narration of "Last of the Megacarriers" from "Star*Solder", the manual of "Wing Commander Arena". This is the tale of the TCS Port Broughton, a Terran Confederation Megacarrier and sistership to the TCS Midway from "Wing Commander: Prophecy".

“There’s somethin’ you don’t see every day,” mused Louann Wilkins as she looked at the Bajoran Wormhole on the viewscreen. “Kinda reminds me of a hurricane. Still pretty, though.” “You say that now, but wait until there’s a thousand ships coming out of it, all filled with people wanting to kill you,” Quark smirked at the sharp-featured human at the Science station as her eyes widened. “It loses its luster pretty fast when that happens, believe me.” The Ferengi took a seat at the empty Engineering station and watched something else on the viewscreen – a Bajoran freighter as it entered the wormhole at impulse speed. “There. There’s our decoy,” Quark called to the Na’kuhl at the helm of the Orion vessel Coldstar as he pointed at an image on the viewscreen. “Follow them in, nice and slow, and we’ll ditch the Federation cloak sensors around the wormhole. If anything, we’ll

Aegis has announced that it will allow technology brokers to reduce their requirements for producing items, in order to increase overall combat effectiveness against the Thargoids.

Henrik de Lacerda, a senior engineer at Aegis Research, clarified this development:

"Aegis is aware that the galactic community has worked incredibly hard to oppose the Thargoids in the core systems. To show our appreciation, we are making it easier for independent pilots to obtain advanced weaponry and hardware."

"We have contacted all registered technology brokers and supplied them with additional funding, resources and manufacturing equipment. As a result, they now need fewer commodities and materials from those purchasing their designs."

"Our hope is that by helping pilots to upgrade their ships, we can enhance their survivability and encourage more Commanders to join the fight against the Thargoids."

    Crossfire Roleplay

Crossfire is known for an open and free Roleplay environment. Doing roleplay for years we have kept it simple and without enforcement. Motivating players to do roleplay appeared to us to be the better way. With the introduction of Crossfire 1.9 the server sided roleplay massively gets improved....
