…Star Citizen Alpha 3.2 Available!
Alpha 3.2
http://Today, we release our quarterly update to the Star Citizen Alpha Persistent universe, Alpha 3.2. In the new patch, Star Citizen players can use the Prospector ship’s mining arm to gather and sell resources harvested from the three moons, adding new gameplay and a huge resource to the game’s burgeoning economy. This economy comes into play in an entirely new way: 3.2 dramatically expands the number of items players can purchase at in-game kiosks with their hard earned in-game currency.
On the technical side, Alpha 3.2 dramatically improves upon the grouping system, delivering on the Star Citizen community’s most requested feature stemming from a vote in March of 2018. This new feature enables up to fifty players to travel the universe together as they enjoy the game’s more than thirty varying, procedurally-generated, mission types. NPC ship AI has

Explorer's Anchorage, an Orbis starport, has been built in the Stuemeae FG-Y d7561 system as part of the Distant Worlds II expedition.
Councillor Magnolia Gill, the starport administrator, announced its operational status:
"For the last four weeks we have watched our new home take shape, using materials delivered by many hard-working pilots. Now it spins in the galaxy's heart, a monument to humanity's ingenuity."
"As well as serving as a safe haven for future explorers, Explorer's Anchorage is a scientific research installation. We hope to learn more about the supermassive black hole at Sagittarius A* and other astronomical phenomena in the Galactic Centre."
The Distant Worlds II exploration fleet is continuing its journey across the galaxy towards Beagle Point.

…Letter from the Chairman
Dear Citizens,
Two Hundred Million Dollars.
Wow.
The amount is the highest total for any project in the history of crowdfunding and is beyond anything I could have imagined in my wildest dreams.
While the number is impressive, that is not what sets Star Citizen and Squadron 42 apart.
The true celebration is one of how a community came together to enable a shared dream to come to life. How gamers from all over the world came together to finance one of the biggest and most ambitious projects ever embarked on. There is no publisher. No big conglomerate. This is all grassroots, funded by gamers for gamers.
http://To highlight just how global the support is, the person that took us past this milestone, Algared, hails from New South Wales in Australia and has been a backer since 2014. We have backers from 171 countries, from some of the smallest like San Marino or the Maldives

Hi all,
Just a small update on this topic: The implementation of UWP is more complex than we anticipated and the devil is in the detail, as we say. We are still working closely with our friends at ID@Xbox to release Everspace on the Windows Store supporting Xbox Play Anywhere and we look forward to announce more details very soon.
Have a great weekend,

…jazz and bar music
Following up on his recent release of the
digital recordings, veteran video game composer
George Oldzieyhas sent out three more updates to his backers. George has exported the sheet music for several tracks from volume 2 of the orchestral project to video format. You can follow the score as the music notation is played back through the Sibelious sound fonts. The second update shows a preview of the artwork for the physical copy of the jazz album. It was made by community member
SabreAce, who you may remember from his work on those awesome
squadron patchesa few years ago. And finally there was a response to a frequently asked question regarding the recommended listening order. If you backed this project, be sure to keep an eye on your e-mail or the
Kickstarter pagefor the latest updates. Kickstarter e-mail updates always end up in my spam folder for some reason. The Victory bar music

…Hello!
Thanks for continuing to share your feedback and reporting issues to us – we’ve been working hard on our next patch which is coming to both PS4 and PC today! Here’s a look at the fixes and changes you can expect:
- Fixed an issue where large numbers of portal visits would be added to save files, greatly increasing the save size and impeding the ability to save the game. We’re aware there are still some players experiencing this issue, and we’re currently investigating any remaining reports.
- Prevented the terrain editor draining in charge when editing empty voxels
- Prevented players being able to edit terrain outside their base radius for free while standing inside their base
- Fixed responses made to Artemis and Apollo at times being incorrectly tracked
- Prevented players being blocked from progressing if they decline to enter glyphs into a particular story portal
- Fixed instances where Atlas text was appearing

If you've been closely following
DefianceIndustries'
fleetof WC1-era ships and thought something was missing, you're right! The Confed lineup now has its star medium fighter, the Rapier.
Klavs' Rapierhas some serious competition now! Now we wait to see where these beauties pop up...
And last but certainly not least in our 2655 Confed fighter lineup - the F-44A Rapier II. Fast, nimble, and equipped with God's own shields, it pretty much typifies fighter combat in the WC universe. Is it any wonder we still seem them popping up in the Nephilim war? Though it begs the question, what was the Rapier I?

…*Pilots Federation ALERT*
Safeguard Interstellar has successfully received medical supplies for civilians wounded during the NMLA terrorist attack.
The bombing of nine starports across the Alliance, Empire and Federation left huge numbers of people injured, some with caustic burns due to Thargoid enzymes deployed by the explosives.
Noel Beaumont, the aid organisation's CEO, announced:
"We are immensely grateful to all pilots who brought shipments of basic medicines and advanced medicines. These have been transported directly to the relevant systems, where they will be used to ease the suffering of several hundred thousand civilians."
Safeguard Interstellar confirmed that its partner factions have made rewards available at the three systems used as staging areas for deliveries.
Pilots can collect from the Perez Ring Brewery at Krylov Ring in the He Bo system, Lavigny's Legion at Mackenzie

FekLeyrTarghas a neat new audio treat for fellow fans. He's recorded a classic Star*Solder article to test out his new audio gear. If the story doesn't ring a bell, it's the one that details some of the exploits and fate of the final surviving Midway class megacarrier that fought in the Nephilim war. It's a very creative reading with music and sound effects layered in! You can find the original text on page 23 of the manual
here.
In order to test my new semi-professional microphone and practice my skills in Adobe Audition, I produced an Audio Narration of "Last of the Megacarriers" from "Star*Solder", the manual of "Wing Commander Arena". This is the tale of the TCS Port Broughton, a Terran Confederation Megacarrier and sistership to the TCS Midway from "Wing Commander: Prophecy".

…Hello everyone,
Last week the Public Test Universe opened to welcome First Wave testers as well as Concierge backers and Subscribers. New ships, grouping mechanics and the first iteration of mining could be tested, and according to some explosive clips out there, it seems you guys had a blast!
Now with the PTU being open for all testers since last night, this is the final phase before we can welcome Alpha 3.2 to live. So keep hitting our test servers, let us know in the Issue Council when you encounter bugs, and leave a reply in the feedback forum if you want to share your thoughts on a specific item or feature.
Check out last week’s Reverse the Verse for the latest about grouping mechanics, and remember to #MineResponsibly. Read the 3.2 PTU patch notes to see how mining works and watch the excellent mining tutorials that are out there, before jeopardizing your Prospector.
Lastly, let me

…“There’s somethin’ you don’t see every day,” mused Louann Wilkins as she looked at the Bajoran Wormhole on the viewscreen. “Kinda reminds me of a hurricane. Still pretty, though.” “You say that now, but wait until there’s a thousand ships coming out of it, all filled with people wanting to kill you,” Quark smirked at the sharp-featured human at the Science station as her eyes widened. “It loses its luster pretty fast when that happens, believe me.” The Ferengi took a seat at the empty Engineering station and watched something else on the viewscreen – a Bajoran freighter as it entered the wormhole at impulse speed. “There. There’s our decoy,” Quark called to the Na’kuhl at the helm of the Orion vessel Coldstar as he pointed at an image on the viewscreen. “Follow them in, nice and slow, and we’ll ditch the Federation cloak sensors around the wormhole. If anything, we’ll

Aegis has announced that it will allow technology brokers to reduce their requirements for producing items, in order to increase overall combat effectiveness against the Thargoids.
Henrik de Lacerda, a senior engineer at Aegis Research, clarified this development:
"Aegis is aware that the galactic community has worked incredibly hard to oppose the Thargoids in the core systems. To show our appreciation, we are making it easier for independent pilots to obtain advanced weaponry and hardware."
"We have contacted all registered technology brokers and supplied them with additional funding, resources and manufacturing equipment. As a result, they now need fewer commodities and materials from those purchasing their designs."
"Our hope is that by helping pilots to upgrade their ships, we can enhance their survivability and encourage more Commanders to join the fight against the Thargoids."

…We've just released a new update. Highlights include enhancements that can be equipped in the hangar, derelict colonial stations, ship color customization and alternative loadouts.
See the complete list of changes below. Please note that Drone Overrides won't work in this version.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer this update on Mac due to several severe issues that popped up after migrating to Unreal Engine version 4.14. We're still working on solutions, but chances are high that we will have to wait for a new Unreal Engine version before we can release the update.
New Features
- Added enhancements that can be equipped in the hangar
- Added new points of interest: Derelict Colonial stations
- Added player ship colors: Some are unlocked from the start, more can be collected during runs
- Added alternative ship loadouts
- Replaced voice actor for protagonist
- Added new consumable: Distress Beacon
