I am glad the images were OK. :) Attached are two images of the Alsace system. One has been photoshoped to enhance the text, as the Crossfire font doesn't appreciate my screen resolution. The other is just as it was captured, so you can decide on whatever is best for you. I am working on other images from Alsace. However, key images are around Arles Station which is, as anyone who has been there knows, a dark and dismal place, that, coupled with the fact that my flash gun is playing up, makes for pictures that aren't very inspiring. I will probably let you have all the images and you can decide on those you wish to keep.

OK, so here is the first batch of pictures. It has been worthwhile going back to Epsilon Indi as I have found a new moon, and I should also have pointed out that there was radiation throughout the system. I hope not too many pilots have been fried as a result of this omission, for those that have, I know a good cosmetic surgeon, and radiation pills, to counteract the effects, are not too difficult to swallow. I have updated the pdf to show the moon and reflect the radiation. I apologize if the images are a bit blurry, but at my age I find it difficult to hold the camera steady, especially when I am under constant attack by Nomads.

As I revisit the systems I will check the data thus far provided; getting wreck info, when Nomads are either stealing it or destroying it, is somewhat challenging. I hope the format and size are OK.

Thanks Martin for your kind comments; I will be please to look at the points you have made. I can change the format of the images, since I only compressed them for the pdf. I will also let you have images of the systems including the various stations. Hopefully, i will be able to cover this over the next few days.

Whilst travelling to the Renaissance systems recently, I noticed that Crossfire Wiki was incomplete with regard to system details and I thought it might be helpful for those travelling to the systems to have more information. I had screen shots of the systems but they were incomplete, with just enough info to get to and from the sector. I have set about tidying them up and put them into pdf files in a similar format to Wiki. I haven’t a clue as to how to set about updating Wiki, even if it were permissible so I am attaching the pdf files. I do have more information about the systems if anyone would like it; ships & equipment for sale etc.

For those of you who are avid traders and intrepid explorers, I took a train to the Renaissance Systems in the Sol Sector to check out the docking stations. The journey is slow, because most of the systems you pass through contain asteroid fields which are either difficult or impossible to avoid. There are in addition annoying attacks by nomads. It may pay to take a less cumbersome ship to the sector first to familiarize yourself with the hazards.

Base stations Bordeaux, Martinique, Lyon and Strasbourg, which are Versailles class stations, are dockable and mooring was straight forward. The mooring fixtures are between the normal docking ports and speed docking is possible, by parking right in front of the mooring before selecting dock. Marseilles Shipyard, an Avignon class station, is dockable but not so easy. You have to line up your ship in front of one of the 3 docking tunnels and select dock. If you are told to go another mooring you may have to start again. However if you enter one of the mooring tunnels, take the ship to end and then press dock you will dock instantly. I am now attaching the updated pdf file. Train Dockable Stations III.pdf

Well I didn't have a list, but now I do, thanks for the assist Wanderer. It has been based on the info I have stashed into my own wiki over many years. I hope it is correct, but I will be pleased to rectify any errors. I do from time to time, accidently alter info I should not (it is my age), so there could well be errors, but I hope it helps.Train Dockable Stations.pdf

Thank you for the information, now there is no rush for the info. I will tidy this up to show the system as well. Should be ready soon.

I was asked on line if i had a list of train dockable stations. Unfortunately I did not have one to hand but I have cobbled together this list off the top of my head. It probably contains errors because I have not checked it out as it was wanted quickly. So any additions or amendments would be appreciated.

If I am reinventing the wheel, sorry if there is a list someone here already.Train Dockables.pdf

Thanks for the info which helps to explain some of the mystery. However, factions do not normally appear until you actually come across them in space. For example you can get a Coalition bribe or kill ancients to become friendly with Dom Kavash but they do appear in your affiliation list until you meet them. Same applies to a new character which only has a few factions in the affiliation list which grows as you encounter new factions. My question now is, are Auvergnat ships flying around out there somewhere and if so any hints as to where?

I am still trying to find out how this faction came to be in my affiliation list, but in the meantime I now have the reputation of Auvergnats with other factions.Auvergnat Faction Reputation.bmp

I appreciate that you can now get this faction into your list by meeting another player with this affiliation, but at the time it appeared last October I do not recall meeting another player with this affiliation. Even if I did, the question of how that player got the affiliation still remains to be answered.

I have also found 2 bribes which, although not for the Auvergnats, mentioned them as not being too pleased with you accepting the bribe. They were both on Waterloo Station, 1 was for Obital Spa and Cruise the other for Cryer Pharmaceuticals.

The Cryer bribe included Outcasts and Liberty Rogues, the Orbital bribe Outcasts and Gains the Orbital' s enemy, which is as it should be.

I am sure there are going to be other instances of this but it is going to take a while, if ever, to find out and get the complete picture for this faction.

I first came across this faction last October when they appeared in one of my character's affiliation list. I do not know when or where this occured. I posted a similar question here in October but received not a single reply. I assumed that nobody knew or if they did, were not letting on as to details of this faction.

From seeing how the affiliation status changes I have deduced that they are a criminal organisation. Their closest ally are the Lane Hackers along with Outcasts and Unioners.

Their enemies are Renaissance and everyones enemy the Xenos, plus Police forces and Bounty Hunters.

Your status with them can be changed in the usual way by killing their enemies or allies depending which way you want your status to change.

I have been unable to find a source for a bribe, but getting a bribe for their enemy or ally has a similar effect as those of other factions who have associations.

The character which picked up the affiliation had mainly been in Sirius although had made a fleeting visit to Sov.

    Hope this helps.

I came across this Faction when getting a bribe, they were among those factions who would not be impressed by my accepting the bribe. Who are this faction and were can they be found please?
