but for the 1st few mission u cant go anywhere 'cept round NY... so no prison ship..
how bout make a trade run around NY and Custodian...

edit: forgot one more thing... in sp sometimes the npc tends to spam cm even when the target is not them... so missiles always miss when fighting more than one npc cuz its like cm field...

maybe its just me... but mission is fairly easy.. as for the starter starflier use the third weapon slot for stunpulse(the one with good shield killer)
i've use the weapon and starter ship until the first mission with juni...
it just takes longer then the usual time to beat the mission...

then the community should be starting a story then....
maybe reading back the cf storyline would make sure that the ppl to write story with to much out of cf character and storyline......

after u install normal Freelancer(mod not activate yet)
follow this step:
- go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games
- then right click the freelancer folder and choose/click properties.
- look at below where there is little box.
- there is two box 1 is read-only and 1 is hidden.
- click the read-only box to make the box empty(no right symbol)
- then click apply and wait until it finish.
- after that click ok.

try change the PerfOptions
in C:\Documents and Settings\Force Unleashed\My Documents\My Games\Freelancer
change the value to this one "USE_3D_SOUNDS = 0.00"

its true... but hey... that what challenge is all about...
there no way that i know to change the regeneration...
but here's a tip...
u maybe dont want to waste ur missile because of npc use thrust to avoid it here away i usually use n somewhat effective...
first shot the npc but conserve energy.. shot down the shield like quarter or half... dont juz shoot all the way cuz u will lose precious energy cuz npc tend to use battery even if they lose little bit shield...
shoot burst like when the enemy dont have any battery left to use... then use missile together with cd...
npc use thrust when we fire missile but when it hit they tend to stop using thrust for a moment.. so use cd and missile together cuz cd will hit first so by the time the npc stop it gave time to ur missile to hit the npc...
and try to use more stunpulse or tizona...

u could try changing the ptough.ini to change the max lvl...
it might work in sp....

the thing u need to be afraid of is the false gossips or news u found on the net....
as long as the anomalies didn't effect ur pc its ok....
u can try checking the task manager n see if any unknown file or program is slowing ur pc down in the processes tab...

here an idea....
is it possible that:
- we use the existing mission file and modify it??
- if it is, then we could rename and change the waypoint such as the that have been done in cf mission.
- we could also try making some trigger and cutscene...
- that way we could extend(modified) m13 to m**..
this is just an idea to make up for the out of topic post ive made.... :]

only if the target is a cargo transport or anything similar...
like freighter but without other hired wingmen...
but using 2 mk still not enough...
how about bringing cd(make it full ammo).... [9]
juz to make sure the target dont run away with cruise...
then start by asking for tax... if they tried to run... use cd..
use the sweet :] targeting system...
either start taking down the thruster first or juz blast all the weaponry.... [8]
and if they agreed to pay... take it... :]
then kill them for the cargo... [8]
cuz ur a pirate... and pirate dont go soft for begging...
expect they know the code of pirate... hehehehe....
even then.. they got to have something that could interest or would love to have for them in return....
