  • CF1.8 development process

    Hi guys I have a question.


    I don't know if it was asked elsewhere but here it is : Will our account of 1.7 transfered to 1.8 or will we need to start all over with our chars ?

  • Silver Arrows are recruiting

    Thx for your critic but this is how i see it :


    I took me only 2 weeks to meet these requirements and it is not hard to read the storyline as well. Anyway, the note at the bottom of the reqs says that if the reqs are not met, pilots might join as a recruit for training :)


    That way, experienced pilots can help us teach recruits and fullfil our goals and new players might come to learn with us. The SA clan is meant to be helpful and opened to thoses who wish to embark on the crossfire adventure. Note that this doesn't mean we take anyone : I still control recruitment to avoid newbs making mess in my clan and on the server.

    CF1.8 will simply throw all other mods to garbage basket. I don't see a reason why ppl would continue playing vanilla FL or another mod than this upcoming beauty !

    Hi there.


    I'm presenting you my new clan. It is called the Silver Arrows and the tag is SA.


    Description :
    The Silver Arrows is a military like explorer faction that is backed by LSF and Liberty Navy funds and assisting the Order in some of its tasks as well.


    The organization has for mission to explore the depth of space and to defend human kind againts threats. We also work in helping those who request our help (Escort, Inform, Patrol)


    We do not interfere in ASF/CSF conflicts. We are explorers and defenders, not warriors.


    The group is currently led by Admiral O'Neil [SIZE=1](fictionnal character)[/SIZE]. Captain Sam Thomas (nicknamed ARROW) is currently in charge of recruitment and public relations.


    Entry requirements :
    [SIZE=1](Requirements must be proven by a screenshot of your info card {F8}. Many screenshots of different chars can be summited to meet reqs.)[/SIZE]

    • Level 35 minimum
    • 20+ hours played (If less than 20, you wont get a rank until you play five hours with the clan as a recruit)
    • 50+ systems visited
    • 500+ total kills
    • Visited Altair Sector at least once
    • A requirement test to see how you fly.

  • Server not showing up in list

    CF Server is not showing in list ! The label "Connecting to global server..." is at top right of the list and it won't finish loading.


    It was working 4 hours ago, I played about an hour.

  • Problem installing CF

    Alright, that's what i thought. Thanks for this !


    I have another problem during install. I run the exe to load it in FLMM. Then, when i active it, it crashes with this log output :


    Error: problem activating 'Crossfire Mod 1.70 Client Edition'
    Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DLLS\BIN\content.dll.flmmbak' to 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\DLLS\BIN\flmmbakspcontent.dll')


    That file doesn't exist and I don't know why it's not there !? Any idea to fix the issue ?

  • Problem installing CF

    Hi,


    I'm having trouble downloading/installing CF on my computer. I run Vista Home Premium with Avast Anti-virus.


    Description : I downloaded CFSetup17.exe on the portal I got several trojan warnings.


    I had CF on my old computer (XP Pro Sp2) and didn't had this issue.


    Please help me !
