Not necesarily. Not after each crash/reboot/whatever it is (since we have no way of knowing) I get a new update.

OP, that website I told you about... yours ffs... where it's supposed to be written OFFLINE/ONLINE whatever... Well, that was necesarily, so we won't have to open 1000000 times FL in order to see that the server hasn't come on yet >.< .

I see. So, it's not a problem from my side, afterall ^^ .

Well, get it fixed soon. When the server crashes, we just have to wait to re-open Freelancer, and if the server isn't up by that time, we've got to re-open Freelancer time after time after time :P .

At http://www.crossfire.swat-portal.de/ , somewhere in the middle of the page, on the right side, under that CrossFire clock, there is "24/7 SWAT Crossfire" (right under "Total visitors: "), where it was supposed to be the SERVER STATUS (offline, online, restarting, dead etc. ^^ ).

Well, check this out (attachment). What's that supposed to mean? :)

Btw, it's been like that for over 2 months... deleted the cookies, damn even tried another browser. Even tried on another PC lol.

OP is right. He improved the server so the lag would be reduced, and it has ben reduced!

India doesn't have such great Internet connections... The problem is with your Internet Service Provider.

I don't know wether anyone else has noticed/reported this bug, but anyway, here I go reporting it :P .

The jump holes are... bugged?! When the jump hole "activates" (dock request), a giant blue light emerges. It looks nice... however... the jump hole itself doesn't look so good anymore.

You can have a look, I attached some screenshots.

Btw, in one of the screenshots, you can see the graphic glitch of the asteroids behind the jump hole too ;) .

    Other two screenshots :

----Dunno how to attach more images... if that's even possible. So, the attachment below is the first screenshot, and the other two are in those 2 URLs :P . Maybe an Admin can merge them into the post... if more attachment are possible :P lol.

Will school allow it? Are you kidding me?

We have 5 informatics hours per week. Two monday, one after another; one thursday and two friday (separated by an other class hour). That's not the problem, since we haven't work a thing in the last 2 weeks (nor C++ nor Microsoft OFfice). So, they're free-time :D and I'm bored of browsing the web in search for that DosBox for my freaking Moto Z8 lol.

Tell me ! WILL IT WORK? :)

If I put the Crossfire folder on a stick and bring it to school (Pentium 4 of 2 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, unknown GPU :| ) will it work? Even on lowest settings?

I saw with CCleaner that the GPU is : Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller. ROFL?! :)

Teyla doesn't look that hot IN THAT PICTURE! Rather fat than hot... But generally she's hot, lol.

Ooooow, that's where Michael got his nickname... The Wraith (pain) in the ass :P , I see.
I thought it's his real name. Mine is Mihai, but translated to English it's Michael.

Thank you, Bullwinkle! That was crystal explanation, indeed! Well, there is a bug with the infocards actually. Hopefully OP doesn't ban me for pointing it out :D . Alright, the bug is : in Inner Cloud, wherever you mouseover in the Navmap (after you mouseover-ed a nebula/field), it will pop-up the name of the nebula/field that was mouseover-ed before. And if you right click -> ? , you get the info for that nebula/field... :)

    Gosh, Michael, you're at least 2 years older than me and still, my English is waaay better than yours :D . Tip : word-by-word translation won't do; that's your first mistake. {got no time for my so-called high-speed 3G to connect AGAIN & say this in a PM :P }

Jack-Bauer used to cheat on CF 1.7, am I right? A friend of mine found a program that enables the gray (inactive) buttons, such as the Multiplayer button before downloading. He tested it, and FL did launch! That was like 8 months ago...

So, I think there still is a way to trick the anti-cheat : disable the Internet, launch FL MP (having the MP button activated with that program), enable the Internet and play. I don't even know what the program's name was... and maybe 1.8 is more well protected.

Didn't knew the anticheat is on the server. That way it ISN'T really cheat-proof. Having the anticheat integrated in the Launcher subprograms, called all over the subrutines would've been a lot more safer, and I doubt Bill Gate is an user here to break that code. Oh, I doubt there's anyone here capable to create it that way lol.

I remember my previous C++ teacher told us (2 years ago) how to write a firewall-integrated-subprogram (FWISP as he called it) that makes all the programs called within the main code simply UNABLE TO CHANGE. The entire code was like 2000 lines, made only by basic commands such as if and for. He also encrypted it twice. The only de/compiler able to decrypt it was also his own creation. That's how he protected the highschool's mainframe and the Wi-Fi. It was just hack proof!!! The teacher died... :(

Liberty ships' engines are white. Bretonians are blue. Kusarians are yellow. Rheinlanders are green. Sirians are red. Except for the transports each faction offer : they're all YELLOW. Although, the Libertian Repair Ship is also yellow...

OP, an option for each ship purchase would be awesome : "What color do you want, human?" :D lol
What do you think? Is it worth it for an update? :D

Antimatter Engine, I'd like that! :)
