    Too bad you can't put PPCs on the Startracker. We could go to Hyperspace and kick some DK ass, getting some DKAs as well as new frags :P .

    Bug : in FL main menu, when the transition between tabs takes place (eg. : Server list -> Chars list), the light just goes higher and higher. After the transition is over, it is back to normal. My old, other PC is : Intel Pentium 4 of 3.4 GHz, 1 GB RAM DDR2, Asus NVIDIA GeForce 7300GT 256 MB GDDR2. I used the same activation settings as on MY new PC. I used a fresh Freelancer installation, over Windows XP SP2 (updated to SP3).


    Bug : one time, the jump tunnel was 90% completely white (except for the edges of the screen, where it was the proper blue wormhole). After the screen went white (system transition), the jump tunnel was normal. You know... the jump tunnel has 2 phases... separated from that period when the screen goes fully white for 3 seconds).

    The submitted date SHOULD HAVE BEEN CHANGE. If you just don't get it Spiky, fk off. If the date hasn't changed, I did ask why because if it was the same version, I wouldnt want to wait 45 mins, again, to dl it, then see its the same. RIGHT? I shouldve just ask Michael via PM...     The original Freelancer Singleplayer was TOO EASY! OP made it a bit harder in Crossfire (NPCs are using nanobots/shield batteries, just like a human being a.k.a player would :P ). It's not hard at all.

    Doesn't that mean that Crossfire 1.8 has been UPLOADED on THE FIFTH OF JANUARY, TWO THOUSAND AND TEN? Or 05.01.10 means 7 or 8 january 2010? Last time I checked, the number 5 was assigned to FIVE, as in THE FIFTH, which comes after fourth and before sixth!


    Btw, I am not ignorant. From the contrary! If there's been a post within these EIGHT pages (5 pages of SPAM, having no intention to waste my time reading those) containing something like "The mod has been re-uploaded, but the submitted date didn't change. Don't consider it, it's not 05.01.10 anymore, however so it's written in the Downloads section!", don't tell me I'm ignorant.

    Stop being an ass. I asked a question, and unless you want the server to crash due to my first-version of CF 1.8, don't answer me.


    Many of you said the server crashes because of people having the first release (5.1.10 - the ONLY f**king CF 1.8 AVAILABLE TO DOWNLOAD FFS!). It's not my fault if the server crashes and there's no so-called "2nd version" to download.


    End of story.

    Excuse me if I'm silly, but this is crazy. In the Downloads section, there is only one CF 1.8 upload, and it dates from 5.1.10! What 2nd version, for cry out loud!?! That's the first and THE ONLY!

    There's no such thing as corrupt download. If it's not downloaded correctly, it will just say "File corrupted" or whatever your operating system says in such occasions. You downloaded it correctly, don't worry. It's probably a bug, should be fixed soon.


    As for the download version... You're right, it's the same since 5.1.10. However, in the CF launcher, there's an announcement telling us not to use that release anymore (hah, rofl). There have been 3 updates so far, each one downloaded via the CF launcher. Maybe you downloaded & installed CF after the release of the second update, so it didn't update the first one and... hah, I don't think that's possible (is it, Haegar/OP?).

    OP, the Black Eagle... ain't looking so black at all. It looks more like the Pink Eagle, but darker. Anyway, it's not black at all. Maybe you should make an update for that :P . Just a suggestion ^^ .

    That's exactly what I wanted to say. Now I gaved it a little more thinking and I realised. Uploading the mod on ModDB will increase the popularity of the server, and it will be 128/128 all the time. I doubt you'll want to wait up to 200 minutes to join :P . Unless, of course, OP makes it /200 :P .

    Btw, CF 1.8 rocks! It's just awesome! Sooooo many visual effects! I love it! When a Nomad ship blows up, it damages me even at 100m lol :P .

    So, the uploaded setup.exe is not going to be deleted (and uploaded the new one). All upcoming changes are going to be via Launcher updater, right? So, I say again : shouldn't you upload the setup.exe on ModDB as well? Or you want to wait until you finish all server-related bugs so the server won't be overpopulated and crash even more often :P .

    OP, relax man. I wasn't going to upload the music files (if I manage to play them) somewhere and tell everyone! I'll keep them for myself (as I do with all my other tracks). I just love them :D . I will copy the files first, somewhere else, probably on another partition :P . Don't tell me you implemented some sort of protection that doesn't allow that (even with FL CF closed!) OMFG :P .



    Anyways, I doubt I'll manage to open the files. You probably encrypted them very well, but you warned me not to mess up with them so... :P

    OP, I like some music. For example battle in Neophobos, it just rocks :) but I can't find the music file :| . In the game's path, AUDIO/MUSIC, there's only the old ones, not the new ones as well :| . What the hell? Can you please tell me where do I find these new ones? ;;D
