Wavey was the event coordinator but he has now left us. So has anyone taken over this position?

I ask as a couple of thigs came up during yesterdays event and I would like some advice/suggestions about these matters.

The vanilla systems are left fairly untouched, so you'll find the new ships in the new systems. Your best bet for info of this type is to ask in game. If you see someone in a ship you like the look of, ask them where they got it.

You have my sympathies, though I have very rarely taken part in TDM I have been in a good few ASF/CSF combats where things are very similar. When I started these, the ASF was usually out numbered which only made the situation worse. There where times when all I did was launch, get the incoming missile tone continuosly, evade and blow up, repeat until total disheartened.

Not much can really be done about this though. Part of the solution is having the team organised, as a team event it is up to the stronger pilots on you side to protect the weaker ones by engaging the dangerous pilots on the other team.

I think that your post here will do as much to help the situation as anything by drawing attention to this situation. It is down to each player to be aware of this and act accordingly. CF is all about fun, not just your own but everyones. If there is an opponent you can destroy in seconds, well you may find that fun but they certainly will not.

The Husband Store

A brand new store has just opened in New York City that sells Husbands.

When women go to choose a husband, they have to follow the instructions at the entrance:- "You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are 6 floors and the value of the products increase as you ascend the flights".

You may choose any Item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you CANNOT go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband.

On the 1st floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men have jobs

The 2nd floor sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

The 3rd floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids and are Extremely Good Looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.

She goes to the 4th floor and the sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help with Housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"

Still, she goes to the 5th floor and sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, help with Housework and Have A Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the 6th floor and the sign reads:

"You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store".

To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.

The 1st first floor has wives that love sex.

The 2nd floor has wives that love sex and have money.

The 3rd through 6th floors have never been visited.

Make sure that you have installed everything as Admin. This includes the game from the disk, don't let it auto run. Browes on to the disk and run it as admin.

Designing medals there is only one man, Maxbur

Why do you think "What is the more problematic part is: We have to assign the player names with the names of the forum users. We have to have a kind of list - but somehow this should be solvable as well (but not sure how for now)"?

Is it finding out which forun user uses what player name? because forum users who want to be included will give you their player names.

Race results from 9th April 2009

The race started and finished at Planet X and racers had to visit Sigma 17 & Edinburgh.

A good race with 1st & 2nd seperated by mere seconds.

1st: BG_Spiky earning $50,000,000
2nd: TRF_Huor earning $25,000,000
3rd: IOC_Stinger earning $10,000,000

The rest received $5,000,000 for taking part, fuel expenses and buying beer at the after race party.
